"This is not a speakeasy. The drink I wanted was no longer available. Which is shocking since they have 16 drinks on their menu and only 4 bartenders creations (the drink I wanted was a bartender creation). Do not, I repeat do not, get one of their zero proof drinks with alcohol. They say you can do it on their menu, but don't do it. I guess I should've taken the hint when the bartender told me no one does that when I asked what alcohol goes well with the zero proof drink. My egg white drink came in a glass and was half full with no garnish. I've had many egg white cocktails and I don't know what this is. Can't believe I paid $15 for this. I wouldn't even pay $5 for this. It tasted like water. Atmosphere is not speakeasy at all. Not sure why this is a suggestion."
"This is not Glenwood. You cannot expect handcrafted cocktails in 30 seconds. The drinks were delicious. Second bar should have not been shutdown early. Outside tent is awesome but clean up/spruce is needed, space heaters needed and fun supervised music needs to be on the patio. It would allow more free space for drinks to be ordered. The money will stay at Watts rather than looking for another location to go."
"Watts & Ward is Dope!! The bartender was killing it all night, he made us a few original drinks based off of ingredients we like while putting on a show. Solid drink menu and all the service was exceptional. We moved around a bit to check out the different areas. Once we sat in an old library, once we at at the bar. Another time we enjoyed music from a couch, awesome pace to hear some live music. Wonderful and unique atmosphere, nice soft lighting. They did a great job making it feel like your stepping back into the early 1900s. Definitely hit this place up again the next time we’re in Raleigh NC."
"My man and I went here for date night and had a fantastic time. We were encouraged to join a wedding party that we met at the venue and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening celebrating with the newlyweds and their friends. It was a really entertaining yet chill vibe and the drinks were fantastic."
"Love the speakeasy vibe of this place. Great selection of craft cocktails, reasonable prices, comfy seating and nice patio. I ordered the Carolina Lily and had zero regrets. It was pretty and delicious! Will definitely return!"
