"I love running at Mac Anderson. My only wish is that it was paved, but that's just because my ankles like a more solid surface. Safe, quiet, not crowded and tranquil."
"This is my favorite park in Statesville. It's a nice size with paved walking trails. It's actually an exercise park, with different workout stations if someone wants to follow. There is a bathroom on site. I have not been inside. My husband and son have, they said it's fine. It's a lovely place to walk your dog. Like everywhere else, they must be kept on leash and need to be picked up after. They have doggy stops near the bathroom if you forgot your bags. Also, they have Pokémon stops and gyms throughout the park, another reason to get out there and exercise!"

"Great park for running or walking. Great atmosphere with friendly people walking. The only issue for the past while is noticing some people parking and driving around not walking or running. Dressed in business clothes or club clothes. Obvious drug activity for people trained to recognize it. Could use more Law Enforcement patrols."
