"Nice rv site, part of Thousand trails memberships. Nice hiking trails, Full hook-up pull through sites for the BIG rigs. Staff here is wonderful. Stop and have a great time"
"We just spent a few weeks here as Thousand Trails members and enjoyed a nice and peaceful getaway from all of the hustle and bustle. If you are looking to visit, remember this place is on the side of a mountain and the campground is in a holler so don't be expecting any great cell service. We had a bar on AT&T and Verizon and calls were pretty good. The campground is nice and you can tell the staff care about the place by the improvements you see them doing around the park. We stayed in the upper portion in a nice pull through site. We didn't have any issues with Water electric or sewer. I read complaints about the water pressure in the lower part of the park but you have no issues with it at the top as I had to reduce the water pressure to keep the RV lines safe. There are a lot of full timers in the park and seasonals which is typical for a TT park, but their sites were kept up and didn't deter from the "Camping" feeling. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and will come back to the park during the summer to enjoy a lot more of the area and local sights."
"We received a trial Thousand Trails membership with the purchase of our camper. This particular CG is very large but very packed. You are literally on top of your neighbor. Check in was very easy and staff are very nice. The one open pool was 1/2 mile away from our site. It was small but nice and clean. The laundry was in that clubhouse building and the machines kept in nice condition. Restrooms had showers there which were also nice and clean. You cannot say that about the other bathhouses. They were quite dirty, disgusting and lacking paper towels half the time and the trash was never emptied. There are a lot of full timers but all were nice and helpful and certainly not wild and crazy like you can find in some parks. We did buy the Internet package because cell service was nil."
"We stayed here for two weeks. My site was easy to get into but that's not the case for many of the sites. Some can be very challenging. All the complaints about the campground falling into disrepair are still valid. They need to invest some money into this park to bring it back to its former glory. I had 50amp full hookups. Upon arrival it was disclosed that one part of the park had low water pressure before choosing a site. The ladies in the office were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Verizon signal is terrible in the park. We did pay for the internet service and it worked great and allowed for wifi calling. The location is right in the middle of a lot to do. Lots of hikes, waterfalls, and a national park. There are a lot of full time residents in the park. Laundry worked perfectly with plenty of machines. I can't complain the way some others have on here."
