"Mel and Jay have created the perfect neighborhood hangout. Great events during the week - I don't think I've missed more than one of their wine tastings - super offerings. For those who don't drink wine - Mel makes a mean bruised martini!!! Other fabulous cocktails, plus great food. Huge kudos to chef Riley. Stop by for some amazing hospitality. You'll leave thinking you can't wait to come back"
"The Social Cork has become my go to hangout (when I hang out). Why?? It’s like the Cheers of the South! Inviting, friendly and caring describes its owners and the patrons. The small plate offerings are home made, consistent and tasty. The wine selections are always awesome and the owners actually order wines that their regulars enjoy. I’ve enjoyed all the above plus the salsa/Latin dance lessons, Singles meet ups, Saturday morning yoga and a plethora of other events which keep my social calendar full!"
"This place is amazing! I brought my hubby so he could decompress after work. He's, literally, sitting here having the best time. Mel, Jay, Toni, and Rylie are awesome! The food is awesome! The atmosphere is awesome! The drinks are awesome! Seriously, do yourself a favor and come enjoy the flavors of The Social Cork!"
"Do you enjoy waiting 90 minutes for a napkin and a fork? Are you a fan of a water pitcher only large enough to serve half the guests at your table? Do you revel in the suspense of ordering a drink and waiting 40 minutes for it to show up? If you’ve answered yes to any of these questions, this place is for you! Come enjoy dinner at the Social Cork where after 2 hours you and your friends can speculate on where your food might be. What’s taking so long? Did they forget our order? They know we’re here right? Ordered a glass of wine? Perhaps they’re having difficulty finding the bottle or the cork screw. Why else would we still be waiting after 30 minutes? Mixed drinks that are an affront to the nose and mouth? They’ve got ‘em. Come enjoy the culinary waste of time that is The Social Cork. Ft. Mill’s newest answer to “hey, my time isn’t important, let’s waste it in a strip mall next to a gas station.”"
"Nice vibes, friendly bartenders and good choices. Got a very nice old fashioned using Four Roses (not smoked as smoker seems to have been down) that I saw on the shelf for a $2 upgrade that was worth it. Prices are on par for the area. Good "happy hour" type spot and seems like they'd have entertainment sometimes as well. A little smaller than you'd expect, but that may be a good thing! Didn't get to try any food due to them closing for a private party in 20mins, but definitely worth a visit to this modern ambiance hangout.."
