Towne Tavern York

"If you order food from Towne Tavern in York on Door Dash, be very aware that they will usually forget to include any sauces and dips for your food. When you call them to alert them to this they will tell you that you can come and get the missing items or ask Door Dash for a refund. If I had wanted to go to their restaurant to get the missing items I wouldn't have ordered the food to be delivered. The point was that I didn't want to go out at all. Why should I ask Door Dash to refund anything? This wasn't their fault. Don't think I'll trust Towne Tavern, in York, to order food for delivery again."

"Stopped in here late on a Friday night because we were charging our EV close by. It’s not much to look at from the outside, but I’m so glad we ventured in! We were greeted by our server, Cory, who was awesome. She suggested several items for us to try, and she was so sweet! I had the fish with onion rings, and my husband had wings. The fish was cooked perfectly and wasn’t fishy at all, and the onions rings were yummy. His wings were great, and the beer was tasty and cold. Definitely recommend, and I’m glad we came across this place on our travels!"

"Stopped in for a glass of wine & a bite to eat. I sat at the bar. Lindy was my bartender and she takes excellent care of you. I had the potato skins & they were super yummy. Fun atmosphere and lots of different bar activities every night. Corn hole, music bingo, live music, line dancing and football! Great outdoor area."

"I heard about this place and decided to give it a try. The food was good. Just hot wings, but I've definitely had worse. Fair beer selection. I sat at the bar alone most of the time, and I spent way too much time with an empty glass. The service wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good, either. I plan to try again, and see how it turns out. They have a nice outside area with a bar that I want to try. And hopefully, a different bar maid."
