"I am a new resident in the area and tried one other stylist but it was not a great fit. I am fussy about my hair. Gabrielle listened to what I was looking for in a cut, made recommendations, and provided an excellent cut. It is probably the first time in years that I did not feel compelled to wash my hair and restyle as soon as I got home. It was perfect. The salon is pleasant and clean. Highly recommend"

"Some people don’t understand the urgency of a hair emergency, however the ladies of blue Salon do. I can’t even put into words how amazing this place is and how at home they made me feel. I was on topsail island with extentions and was told if I got them wet to just wash wash condition condition. So I did. They were so matted and HAD been so beautiful that I was destroyed. My best friend and 17 year old daughter took action right away helping me without fail. She combed my hair (getting much of the mess out), held my hand, calmed me down and cheered me on. I was a mess and she was my rock. I’m so proud of her. She then found blue salon who was instantly supportive, amazing in every way, able to take my extensions out even though I was sad to see them go. They were all welcoming, genuine, concerned, and took my “emergency” into their hands and made it better. Every last one of them was kind to the very last second. I have virtually no hair (this the reason I have extensions). I honestly can no longer pay for them so I am asking God for this to be a blessing in disguise. I can’t thank them enough for their kindness and true compassion for a 40+year old damaged woman that they made my vacation. If it wasn’t for them. I would have not enjoyed my vacation - I was then able to go in the ocean and get wrecked by the waves with my kids and make amazing memories. These girls need all the recognition they deserve for being there for me. I appreciate them more then I can express. What seems like a common mishap could have ruined my vacation, but what started with my daughter and ended with blue Salon I had the best vacation in history!!! Thank you to you all!!! I usually show he some inspiration pictures of the look I’m going for and she uses her expertise to make it happen all while keeping my hair strong and healthy. She also cuts my children’s hair and has so much patience with them and makes them feel very comfortable."

"I wanted a GOOD salon with very professional stylist in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Salon Blue is that place for me. Jaime is my stylist and I have to say--she's magical. TMI, but my first visit to Salon Blue was when I was just coming through a pretty dark time in my life. Jaime did a color, highlight, and style, and showed me how to do upkeep. I left that day feeling like I could finally hold my head up and smile, and I felt like an actual person with a soul again. Jaime's work makes me feel that way EVERY time. She's approachable, friendly, skilled, an elite professional (and hilarious)--the whole package. She "gets you" on a service level and a personal level. I can't say enough good things!"
