"Affordable Auto Repair is the real deal! A local dealer told me I needed a new A/C compressor ($1800) and possibly a whole new system, for a lot more money. I called Affordable Auto Repair instead and the experience was excellent from start to finish! They were extremely patient, friendly and helpful as I explained the car's problems and what the dealership told me, so I brought the car in and they worked on it right away. And guess what? It didn't need a new compressor! Kevin did a thorough analysis of the A/C system and found it only needed a new relay and some freon. My total bill was less than 1/3 of what the dealer quoted, and the actual problem was resolved - the A/C is like an arctic blast now! They could've easily screwed me. They could've replaced the compressor, the condenser, etc, and I probably wouldn't have been the wiser. They didn't. There are 2 aspects of a car repair facility that are most important to me: highly skilled mechanics and equally important - HONEST mechanics. Kevin and his team are exactly that! Through this experience they have earned my trust and I now have a local go-to place that I know will fix my car correctly, and will fix what needs fixed - nothing extra. That means a lot! "Today is March 15, 2023. I just returned from fire stone with three new tires. So my issue is I went to this shop yesterday at 8am and had to call at 5pm to check on my car. I was told he would call me back in a few minutes. When he did call me back he gave me a list of issues and a estimate for $2,480 ok not a problem if any of the issues he listed was true. So I went to Fire Stone to get a second opinion and not one of the issues he listed was my problem. The only problem I had was I needed three new tires. And that fixed the problem I had in the front end for a total of $450 . He definitely takes a vantage of his customers."
