"Beuthyfull place for expend time walking or drinking a good beers, a big food choice and Souvenir shops are enough don't skipped the Anthique Store at the Main Street End. But if you need a coffee, try the cortado ( expresso with milk foan) @ Joshua's coffee shop."
"This is one of our favorite places to visit. I love coming here with my husband or coming with him and bringing the kids. The area is absolutely beautiful and there is so much to do. There are lots of waterfalls to hike to. There is ax throwing, breakout rooms, you can float the River, zip line, do a activities at Unicoi State Park and Lodge, play mini golf, and so much more!"
"Great German village in north Georgia. We went to Octoberfest last night. We had a good time but were expecting a little more. Love the theme town."
"This is an awesome place to visit for German food, tubing, and just fun. There are at least 5 waterfalls, and so many other things to do in and around this quaint German town. For us it was a walk down memory lane and we loved every minute of it"
"We were very excited to visit because we love German stuff (food, crafts, etc) and the facebook buzz made it seem like an awesome place to stay and explore. Unfortunately is was very underwhelming. There were some cute and interesting things to see, and the riverfront area was pretty, but overall it was dirty, run down, and mostly a tourist trap with loads of unauthentic tourist garbage stores. We did not feel safe in the paid parking, which was the usual tourist trap ripoff as far as cost, and the parking attendants were even sketchy). Unfortunately I cannot recommend staying here as a destination…but it might be worth a quick stop on the way by. See the riverfront area, eat at the Heidelberg, whip through the few decent shops, and move on."
