The Sorrow Drowner

"Wife and I came in to the sorrow drowner having no idea what to expect and we enjoyed every minute of it. The tiki drinks are amazing they make their own syrups and juice their own fruit. Our server Brad is an awesome guy with great knowledge of Rums, tiki culture and classic tiki drinks!!!!!! We only had drinks because we ate dinner prior but next time we are in town we will eat here the food looks great. The burlesque show was also a nice touch. They also use good rums in their drinks instead of the bottom shelf garbage 98% of bars use. Can't wait to come back.... Sincerely the couple from Myrtle Beach"

"Very big fan of this Tiki Bar. Being 20 and wanting to enjoy a nice tiki bar atmosphere, they have many accommodations for no drinkers and the underage. Great shows and performers as well. Definitely check this place out for a delicious bite to eat or a great drink."

"A very interesting place, a cool atmosphere for the quirky crowd. Went during the Thursday night movies and enjoyed it. •Service was great, staff was helpful and friendly. •A lot of interesting decor items to catch your eye and provide atmosphere. Full of Indiana Jones-esque relics and "curated pieces" to mimic that of a treasure hunter's mansion, from cryptids to tribal garments. •A bit warm, as I was sitting at my table it felt like it was getting hotter in the building. It was also quite dark to add to ambience, everyone at my table had to use flashlights to look at the menu. •Food was very good, especially the coconut shrimp. •Not a place for something like an intimate meeting but suiting for a casual friendly sit-down for a variety of interesting cocktails. •No beers on tap, about 2 dozen cocktails to choose from. Location is definitely against the establishment for a place of such a niche interest. Hopefully it holds out."
