"If you haven't been yet you need to get there asap! The food slaps! hands down best mac in cheese in the area collards where perfect the meat smoked perfectly. I don't usually post about food places because they generally disappoint but this didn't. Been waiting for them to open and the wait was well worth it. Thanks for an awesome lunch"
"Came in to try last night, finally- it was literally so much better than we hoped for! The brisket, beans, cornbread and okra were our fav!!.. The ribs, mac n cheese & pot salad 2nd choices. Great deserts, the staff was awesome- the girls were super welcoming, helpful and kind. I'm pretty sure I'll be there 1x every 2 weeks or more lol oh the sauces are were all good too! Awesome variety!!!"
"In town from Columbia for work, decided to check this place out, and it didn’t disappoint. My friends and I had lots of questions and the staff was so kind and patient while we figured out what to order. We decided on the Carnivore platter, but added 1/2 lb of burnt ends. The brisket was my fave! For sides we ordered collard greens, Mac & cheese, and deviled egg potato salad. The collards were cooked perfectly! The cornbread was moist and a little sweet. The prices are good, the portions are solid. We had plenty of leftovers. High recommend and I definitely will return!"
"Nice new place. This area has grown soooo much. Stopped in after the grand opening and unfortunately they didn't have brisket that day with them being busy over the weekend. So I got a sandwich and mac n cheese. I stopped in today since I was in the area and got the brisket and collards. Prices seem a little high for what you're getting versus other places but it was overall good."
"Was really excited to see a BBQ place pop up in Carolina Forest, but my visit left me pretty disappointed. Employees were nice and it had a nice atmosphere and attractive interior, but extremely slow process for how not busy they were at the time. Brisket sandwich was ok, but extremely greasy. Pork was flavorless, and tasted more like it was cooked in the oven rather than smoked. Mac and cheese was cold, since it sat there for the 10 minutes as I waited for my order, and then I realized when I got back that they never gave me my $3 slice of cornbread I ordered. Grandmas eclair cake was the highlight and absolutely delicious but was just dumped in a cup. Need to work out the kinks on this one"
