"I went on my lunch break just to get my dip nails off. I walked in and there was one other person getting their nails done and two other technicians just chatting in a corner. I waited for a little and finally the only woman doing nails asked what I needed. She told me to take off dip was $10 so I said ok. One of the technicians who was chatting came to take off my nails. She didn't ask me anything, just started soaking them in acetone and buzzing them down with the little machine. I thought we were almost done but then she disappeared in the back for like 10 mins and I heard her chatting and eating with the other technician. The original woman who asked if I needed anything saw me waiting there and called my technician back to finish with me. Super weird. When I went to pay I was charged $15, and even after I said I was told 10, the technician told me there were different prices for how you get your dip removed. I told her no one told me that and I would have chosen the $10 one if I was given an option. She just didn't answer and I didn't want to argue so I just paid and left. Would not rec and definitely will not go back."
"!WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I got acrylics last week at some place else for an event and needed them off now since it was over so I went to Garden Nails Salon to get them off because of the convince near State. I walk in and the ladies already rude. The man takes me back at 6:00 and I tell him I just wanted to take my acrylics off, he starts to shave off the gel which is normal then proceeds to pull out a fake nail, stick it under my acrylics and RIP the acrylic off my nails ripping my nail beds with it I am wincing in pain at this point and he looks at me and proceeds to say “it’s better for it to you hurt than take a long time” I tell him that i’ve never had my nails taken off like this before (every time i’ve had my nails taken off they have been wrapped with alcohol soaked cotton balls and wrapped with aluminum foil then having the acrylic scrapped off) he also said “ if we used the rubbing alcohol method it would take a long time” he was so rude and he was just straight dry ripping the acrylics from my real nails it was excruciatingly painful, I could’ve done that myself at home which I used to and stopped because it hurts really bad and ruins my nails, my fingers felt like they were on fire after and they are all chipped and broken. I am so extremely sad and disappointed this is the worst service I have ever received in my life and he charged me $10 for a torture session. Pictures below, save yourself the time and go somewhere else."
"My first time coming here. I got a classic pedicure with Dao and she was amazing! Super quick and beautiful nails were done. Then, I decided to do acrylics. They put me with Jenny. I never get my nails done since I do them at home so I don't know the shape names or anything. However, the times I do get my nails done, it usually goes smoothly. When she started working, at one point she threw my hand and said "Relax your hand" to which I said I was sorry and okay. Then, she angrily said "I can do work by myself I don't need you turning your fingers" (which I definitely wasn't). I said okay and stayed silent since I didn't know how to respond to her attitude. Later, I showed her a picture of the shape I kind of wanted (almond) and told her to make it with a narrower tip, but without making it pointy. She filed them and when I said "Rounder please", she screamed "Later" after a long obnoxious sigh and rolling eyes. I was fed up and said "Can you please be nicer, you are being really rude". She stayed silent then proceeded to harshly file my nails down (they felt like they were going to break; it hurt). Lastly, when I was explaining how thick I wanted my French tips, every time I corrected her just to make sure I get the nails I want, she would again sigh and roll her eyes before making them thinner. I was exhausted and felt super bullied. I was honestly in the verge of tears from how frustrated I was. The nails look fine, but it felt like I couldn't voice what I wanted without getting in a battle with her. At the end, I wanted to get out of there as FAST as possible. I paid and left. Never to return and I honestly DO NOT recommend this salon at all. The prices are the same as other GREAT salons, but you will for sure get a better experience somewhere else (without bullying or frustration ruining your self-care day)."
"Got a pedicure and gel manicure. They did very good and were quick 1 hour max. They have some colors in both gel and regular polish to match hands and toes, I did number 23 this gold color. I also got a student discount of 10% which is nice. Make sure to park in their lot that’s downstairs or they’ll make you move."
"I went to get my acrylics off and get gel on my nails it was the worst experience I’ve had getting my nails done. I wanted to try this place because I’ve heard good things but the guy who did my nails (hai t) was terrible. First when I was picking my color he clapped his hands at me rushing me to pick a color when it hadn’t even been more than 2 minutes of me looking at the colors. Then the man working in my nails was so rough ripping my tips off from the acrylics I previously had on and then cut my real nails during that without asking how long I wanted them (I wanted gel on my real nails because I had been growing them out). He then made my super short nails into a square shape when I asked for them rounded, I asked him to fix them and they didn’t look great but by this point I was so upset I didn’t want to say anything or I would start to cry. Then he put my color on (the wrong color, I also didn’t say anything because I’d accepted the fact that they were gonna look terrible whether or not I said anything). The nails turned out really bad, the color was all over my fingers, it’s not smooth, and my nails aren’t even the same shape. When my friend and I were paying we asked about the student discount and when my friend asked he said they didn’t apply it to totals under $30 and when I asked since mine was $30 he switched it up and said they don’t apply it if you just change colors (which I didn’t do) or if your total is under $35. I recommend going to literally any other place to get your nails done."
