"My hair has always been my downfall. Finding and getting serviced by the loc lounge has been amazing. I have extremely soft hair and it drives me nuts. The best part about sitting down with Tushiyah is that I don't have to speak much. She knows exactly what needs to be done, she knows exactly how to treat and style my hair as well. I get plates, advice and love at the loc lounge. Never been disappointed about my service and I always get the best compliments!! The wash- this is the best part. It's not an ordinary wash. It's a 30 min wash, scrub, detox and hair maintenance. Omg it's the best feeling. I don't want to get up from that shampoo bowl!!! The style - I promise you don't go in there with a firm style. Tell them what you like and they will make the best selection on how to put your hair. Trust the professionals!. I have a small head so it doesn't take them long at all!! The after - my hair style usually last about 3 weeks but the freshness of my hair last for about a month!! I've even had my hair color changed 3 times!!! And Tushiyah is also an expert in this . A blue color made it almost impossible to come out of my Loc and Tushiyah and her color expertise turn it the color I wanted!!! Experience here is TOP TIER! ILL RECOMMEND AGAIN AND AGAIN!"

"Great stylist. Waiting for my second appointment. But overall satisfied with services. She does have a membership that only extends to 50 clients after that she will no longer accept clients. I think this is a smart way to manage over booking because her prices and hair services are great. Update: Yet be prepared for lateness on her behalf as I had to wait over an hour outside her salon for her to show up for my appointment. As if your time doesn’t matter. After dealing with her for 2 years she was never on time for any of my appointments."

"Well, they say they do locks there, but when I spoke to the young lady who told me to text her a picture of my sons dreads, she told me that she think I need to go to a hair salon where they specialize in locks so don’t understand why they are called a lock lounge salon When they do not do locks call my son needed was the top of his head re-twisted with the palm twist which we all know is very easy and the sides that he had let grow out so that he could have a full head of dreads so starter dreads along the sides and palm twist on the top. They were unable to perform this very easy, very simple task. I am actually still in the process of looking so if anyone knows of any one who does dreadlocks please feel free to let me know. Thank you."

"Where do I start?!?!? I started my journey with a quick consultation and was still skeptical because it only took the owner 5 minutes to diagnose what I needed. I made my appointment for two weeks out and paid my deposit. The day of my appointment, I was cautiously optimistic just because of previous disappointments. I arrived and was immediately greeted by the receptionist and within minutes, my stylist and new BFF Palayah introduced herself and took me to the back to wash my hair. First of all, that wash alone was heaven and then the conditioner was amazing! Keep in mind, because of previous advice, my hair had not been moisturized in almost a year... :( Palayah performed surgery on my locs and by the time she was done, I was nearly in tears because I was soooo happy with what I saw! I HIGHLY recommend Loc Lounge and I am so grateful to have found them. I can finally say, I found myself a Loctician and her name is Palayah!"
