"My experience was okay. I think it would be better if they came to you to do the service. If you have your own tow dolly to drop your prius off, its probably okay. In my case if you don't, you have to pay for a tow there, then pay to get a ride there - then if your prius still doesn't run correctly like mine, then you have to pay to get another ride home, then pay for another tow truck to tow it away from Battery box. All that adds up $ toward my experience. After they put the battery in, if you have other issues causing the car to not run correctly, you are reminded like 10 times about their warranty and how they won't be responsible if it ruins the hybrid battery they replaced. Then you are basically own your own. In my case, I got the prius towed home and fixed the issue myself. The code I had was p3190 - ended up just being a dirty maf sensor. Car is running great. Overall, the experience was okay - they got the battery in and it works like it should now. The manager that I talked to in person when I arrived to pick up the Prius was very professional and did a great job customer service wise. Even though my experience was up and down, I would still recommend battery box."

"When my 2007 Camry Hybrid battery quit on me, I thought that was the end of the line. But everything else about my Camry was just fine. I did a little research and happened upon the Battery Box in Raleigh, and man, am I glad I did. I was able to book an appointment online and within a day I was over at their shop having a newly refurbished battery installed in my car for a very reasonable price, complete with full 2yr warranty! Keep in mind my car had 200k on it. A year went by and I got a "Check Hybrid System" warning. I immediately set up a new appointment and was visiting them within 24 hours. 30 minutes later Tim and Kevin had me on my way, fully functional with smiles and excellent service included, all at no charge. I now have almost 240k on my Camry and hoping I can make it to 300k before retiring this one. At any rate, with Battery Box having my back, I feel like I have a real shot at seeing that happen.
