"I have always wanted to color dye my hair but I was afraid of having damage due to having dark hair. I arrived to my appointment with an idea of what I wanted: a peekaboo dye colored lilac purple. Engin was transparent about me coloring the bottom layer of my hair that shade purple and what I would need to achieve the shade purple look I presented to him upon meeting. He did not promise to be able to get me the pastel but did say he could color it purple. He was concerned about damaging my hair and making sure it looked right. I appreciated that he asked what I wanted, looked at my hair, and gave me a plan and was open about a reasonable and achievable color dye for my hair. This eased my anxiety about getting my hair colored. It was my first time getting my hair professionally colored and styled and I am so glad I chose DBH. They treated me kindly and have great customer service especially since it was my first time. I could tell by walking in and noticing their regular clients they care about their clients. This made me feel at ease as my appointment went on. They were hospitable in providing me refreshment while I had been there as well. I will be going back to get my hair colored again when this purple fades."
