"Need to do some home repairs, and I have to use the exact same colors the HOA used the last time they painted, which was "glass of milk" aka sorta-white. Came in here last week and Dave was extremely helpful in not only verifying they can recreate it, but what my options were for exterior paints and what the differences are. if I end up having to buy the paint myself (as opposed to the contractor), I will definitely be coming back here to buy it. "Recently, my wife visited this store, and upon incorrect recommendations, she purchased stain instead of exterior paint. After spending some money she attempted twice to paint the stairs but every time the stairs looked worse. I tried to return the stain but was unable to do so. The sales lady tried to blame us for not applying the stain correctly, which is not true. We power washed the stairs the day before. I suggested instead to buy exterior paint with some discounts, but that idea was shut down too. I don't recommend this store, everything is expensive, and the store clerk did not have the knowledge to make the correct recommendations."

"I had an amazing experience 2 days ago while purchasing exterior paint for my house. I want to call out Brent Hayes who is an Asst. Manager at this store for such a great service. Brent helped me with picking the right color, type of paint, discussed pros of each kind of paint, was super courteous, and carried all my paints to my truck. Thank you very much for being so good to your customers, I will come back to this location for all my future paint needs. PS: I was very satisfied with all the precautions in the store regarding COVID (mask wearing employees, mask available for customers, social distancing, marking on the floor, plexi glass, separate entry/exit doors etc etc)"

"Before placing the order I checked with multiple stores if I can place an online order and pick up later and everyone told me it’s not possible. However, when I went to the Cary Preston store in person, the asst manager Brent helped me out and said they will do everything possible to help me out. Even after knowing that I’ll place an online order, he walked me through all the details to chose the right paint and tools for my specific requirements. It was an wonderful experience and i felt like my business was appreciated. I even called him a couple of times after my visit and he spent a good amount of time to clarify my doubts and answer my questions. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous and I would definitely shop in this store even though it’s not the closest SW location from my place."
