"Bear Foods has a feel-good story about its origins so they definitely have that in their favor. But a story isn’t enough. You need a solid product. The peanuts are better than you’ll find in stores. I have not tried all the varieties, but those I’ve tried are first-rate except for the Sea Salt Truffle. Not for me. They rate 3-stars because the 22-oz tins for some products are often sold out, NEVER seemingly in stock. This holds true for their Hot Honey peanuts in particular but also for arguably their best product, the Dill. Why they can keep their smaller tins of these products in stock but not for the larger is a little strange. Bear is local to my area so I prefer to support them. I’ve sourced another supplier of Virginia peanuts that are just as good so there are options when Bear can’t come through."
