"You try to support Black business and they disappoint every time. Am new to area a wanted to start my natural hair and inquired about their services. I went the location in Durham and received a poor consultation. I was also informed that would to to the Raleigh location to get my service of getting the Butterfly locs installed. Was ensured that would be hearing a stylist from that location. Complete radio silence. If I could a lower I would very UNPROFESSIONAL"

"Came in today after installing my own quickweave the night before. Asked for a long blunt cut and was charged $20 for something a child could’ve done with kitchen scissors. I guess Satina wasn’t feeling work today, though she was kind - customer service was still poor. I explained what I wanted and she kept saying “shaping will cost more” “a haircut will cost more” and hesitant to provide the service the way I wanted to make me happy with my hair. I gave up, told her it was fine and left frustrated and decided to just do it myself at home, she poorly cut off two inches of my bundles and was obviously confused as to what I asked for."

I was getting married in 2 days and I showed Jamie an image of a hairstyle I wanted and I’ve never had it done before. "I've been to this salon in Raleigh but this was my first time at their Durham location. I scheduled an appointment to receive Marley Twists but received something completely subpar. The twists were all different lengths and sizes with the ends not secured at all. I paid $260 for this hairstyle. After reaching out to the salon, I still haven't heard back. Note, I have 4C hair but it's never been an issue to twist. **Review Update** Since contacting the salon and speaking with Ron, I was given a full refund for the service I paid for. Ron was very professional and apologized for my unpleasant experience."
