"To all the anxious, over thinkers -- this salon lives up to the name in every way. You can book online. The people are great and the environment is great. I can't recommend Esther more! She instantly made me feel comfortable and really listened to what I wanted. If you're a person that considers your hair "unruly" or "difficult" or "damaged" like me -- it can feel intimidating to see a professional. However, there is just an ease that comes from sitting in Esther's chair where you just feel like she gets it. There is no wonky layering she can't fix. No split end she can't help salvage. There is no hair type she can't tame. I felt like I could trust her. She truly embodies the safety of the safe space salon. And that feeling of safety is not misplaced. Not only was my hair cut exactly what I asked for, but it's the first time in my life I've liked the way someone cut my bangs. The undercut she gave me was also one of the best. She got my hair feeling healthy and shiny which was my #1 ask. She undid 3 years of damage in an hour and half. I left the salon in bouncy curls that held for 2 days. She understands hair textures in a way I've never seen before. The actual salon is amazing too! I would say going here feels more relaxing than an actual spa because of the atmosphere the owner has created. It feels genuine and comfortable - like you're getting your hair cut at your really cool friend's house who just happens to have gorgeous interior design and really cool art. It was a great experience."
