"Absolutely awesome experience!! The weather was a little misty but that made the experience all the better. The little rain and mist allowed for us to be the only ones on the river. The atmosphere felt like Jurassic Park and it was AWESOME! I’ve been white water rafting in Colorado and was used to top notch guides and equipment. Blue Heron met all the expectations and more. Cheers to those who work there and provide such a great experience! Don’t let “bad” weather stop you from rafting, it only enhanced our experience. Highly recommend."

"The staff is so friendly, and they do a great job of preparing you and making you feel comfortable. They were very informative and we learned a lot about the history in the area along the way. The rafting itself was not as scary as I thought it would be. We only went through 3 category 3 rapids so those ones were exhilarating but category 1 and 2 arent too bad. We had a great time and Izzy was a fantastic guide. Would definitely recommend this company!"

"We just got back to our hotel after our all day rafting trip. All I can say is Blue Heron Whitewater is the best outfit I have been with. From the safety briefing to checking you gear before hitting the water you feel safe. We went with my son who is10 and my mother in law who is 68 and speaks no English. They both had so much fun and our guid Jordan did not have any trouble with the language barrier. The river we went on had a great variety of rapids the final was a class 4! You do get wet on the bigger ones and the water came crashing over on our son and he loved it. Lunch was a big surprise way more food than I expected. I do recommend the whole day that last class 4 is so worth it."

"If you insist on getting in a raft and careening down a river through class 1, 2, 3, and 4 rapids, look no further! Blue Heron Whitewater is awesome!! My wife took me here for Father’s Day to make up for the fact that my daughter was at school and my son was on a trip. Personally, I thought she was trying to get rid of me and didn’t want the kids there to witness the carnage. That was a slight overreaction on my part. Actually, we had an amazing time!!! We lucked out with Patrick as our guide. He knew the river inside and out and shared a lot of cool stuff along the way (in addition to keeping us from doing anything stupid). And Wags made the usual “here’s what you should do so you don’t die” stuff that you don’t normally listen to in the beginning pretty bearable. At the end of the day, they did an awesome job giving you enough of a scare to keep you safe so you could have a great time on the water!!!! I couldn’t recommend them more!!"
