"I was there this morning ( Tuesday) at around 10:00. Once I shopped, I went up to the registers. Only two were open. One was an express lane with people in line. The other was a regular one with a customer with an overflowing cart. So, I went to the self-checkout. This would not have bothered me that much except I noticed four employees standing right at the registers chatting and laughing. They were there the entire time I was checking out, and I’m slow because I have never worked at a grocery store. So glad those employees had a nice chat time while customers did their job."

"This store is always busy, yet they consistently have items in stock. Great location for quickly picking up items or weekly stock up trips. The store is clean and organized. The cashiers are friendly."

"Pretty good selection with good prices. Update 1: quick checkout, and still relatively good selection and prices. Update 2: well staffed on Thanksgiving (thank you) for a few last minute items - upgrading to 5 stars because those working were helpful and had a great attitude! Update 3: just added 4 self checkout stations with plenty of staff to make sure checkout was easy. Update 4: clean, good product selection, quick checkout. Update 5: good prices, another quick checkout, convenient Update 6: obviously I frequent this Food Lion because I appreciate the convenience and generally good prices - although I got burned the other day when they changed the Asian Pear prices from per pound to 'each' - ouch - 3 small pears for $7.47"

"I used the bakery last week to make our 16 year old a sweet 16 cake. She did an amazing job and super cheap too! (Side note—I did provide the sign, flowers, etc) but they took it away!"
