I love how she made sure I was okay with certain things before applying. She’s very nice and takes her time but doesn’t have you sitting all day."

"I cannot say enough good things about my experience at the Trap Beauty Bar. I was new to the area and in search of a natural hair stylist. For my first time, I went with medium knotless braids. From start to finish, Tina was professional, knowledgeable, and addressed all the questions and concerns I had about my hair. I only had to come in, sit down, and relax. She took care of everything else. It’s been two weeks and my hair still looks amazing! Can’t wait to sit back in Tina’s chair."

"Not only is Kay (nail tech) an AMAZING and creative artist, she’s friendly and personal and will not allow you to leave until you are completely pleased. I wanted a specific shade of pink on my nails so she literally combined two pinks to make the color. She is beyond special! I also had the pleasure of receiving a full lash set from the owner Christine. We talked the whole time as if we were friends and I knew her for years. The biggest thing that stood out was how humble she was and how determined she is to give back to the community. She spoke about keeping prices reasonable because of inflation and staying open till 10:30p for convenience! This is one nail salon in Charlotte I believe truly makes you feel taken care of. As a northerner whose recently moved here, the vibes just give me home! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do yourself a favor and get all your lady needs done here! It’s one stop shop and EVERYONE LITERALLY EVERYONE IS so nice and welcoming!"

I’m visiting the Charlotte area and this is my go to place as long as I’m in the area! There are so many stylists, lashers, mail techs to choose from so if one person doesn’t tickle your fancy try someone else! A Real Experience!!"

"Booked an appointment about a month out for my daughter’s senior pictures. She wanted to get lashes and a soft glam and we were able to book for both services back to back. The evening before the appointment I received a text to request we come in earlier for the lashes which was absolutely perfect for us and no big deal. Confirmed we would do makeup right afterwards. The next morning we received another text advising the appointment would have to be cancelled due to an unexpected emergency. Totally get those things happen so I asked if we should still come at 1130 for make up and was told yes. Upon arrival we were greeted and offered something to drink while we waited. Unfortunately the makeup artist was unaware of us coming early so we waited an hour but she was very polite and didn’t mind working on my daughter and she did a lovely job. My daughter really loved the look as did I. The music was a bit loud but that was because the speaker is right in her area which is not a huge deal but may impact others. The overall salon was clean and all of the ladies seemed to take pride in their work. I had my 10 month old son with me and the older woman and gentleman there were so sweet to him. Again - I am not disappointed in the work and only took one star due to miscommunication. Would definitely come back though"
