"This is the first time I’ve had a gel manicure where they used an electric filing tool prior to applying the gel. NEVER let anyone do this. Cosmetically, the manicure chipped within two days and was thin and streaky to start (not the smooth thick gel look). Worse though, my nails are ruined, likely for month. They are extremely painful. The ends of several of them were peeling and splitting (not just the polish, but the actual nail, and the nails were short enough that it was impossible for them to catch on anything). The slightest pressure on top of my nail or even using finger tips is very painful. It’s as though they filed off at least half the thickness of my nails. It looks like they have a lot of good reviews, so maybe it was just my person and aggressive electric filing, but it’s the worst manicure outcome I’ve ever had."

"Such a great experience. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Once you sit down, they take care of everything. It was super convenient to have my manicure and pedicure done in the same spa chair. Vicky is a master nail artist. I’m still just staring at my nails, in awe."

"The first time I came to Zen Nails, November 27, 2023, the lady did a great job on my nails. The 2nd time I came here was yesterday, December 22, 2023, and things did not go well. I got gel for both my mani-pedi and it did not come out good at all. Lee did my manicure and Mindy did the pedicure. I do not like when 2 different people do my nails. During the pedicure I felt a stinging feeling on my right pinky toe, and I asked Mindy what it was, she said, "she said its not problem, its a little cut from the file". I asked Mindy if she put something on it, she said "sorry, I wiped it", "its okay". Well, it was not okay. I tipped nicely for christmas to thank them for their service. After I left Zen Mails, I went to Wholefoods and I felt something sticky on my slides. I looked down and my right pinky toe and it was bleeding. I have attached photos. I was very upset and I could not believe how much blood was coming out. What I do not understand is what tool did she use that caused this gash?! This morning I went outside and saw the gel manicure and pedicure was lumpy, bumpy, uneven and it looks bad. I paid $132.00 for the service (not including the tip) and for this amount, I expected better. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this salon. I do not like this and I will have to get this fixed. I expect to be refunded the $132.00"

"My first time here. Was looking for a salon that does gel-x. I was a walk in on Saturday evening and they got me right in. Place was beautiful and service was wonderful. Very pleased with how my nails turned out! Pedi was great also. I will be coming back, worth the drive!"

"Mindy is the BEST nail tech i’ve ever gone to in my entire life (and i’ve gone to a million diff places). I already told her she’s doing my nails for my wedding. She’s THAT good. And she’s super sweet too. The management at Zen nail salon is also so good. They’re so attentive and kind and it’s just 12/10 service. I would recommend this place to anyone!!! I don’t go to any other salon!!! Promise u will love it and i never leave reviews so u can trust when i say this is an amazing place."
