"I cannot speak much on the Dentist himself, only minimally interacted with him. On the other hand the office staff is woefully unprepared for any business at all. Phone calls are frequently unanswered, suspicious insurance interactions, failing to cash a check to reimburse our copay we paid in December, not returning calls to our insurance company, and giving all sorts of excuses like "we have a new system" or "I never got a phone call". Insurance sent them multiple checks and all them have not been cashed. We are now fighting them with our insurance company to send the check to us directly. Honestly don't come here; I regret going here and having to fight 4 months (and ongoing) for our $430 dollars back. I again have zero context for the dentist but I have basically felt scammed by this dental practice due to the lackluster office staff and failure to productively interact with the insurance company or us (client) for well over 3 months without a excuse for their own failings. Very disappointing. Update 4/17/2023 We finally got the check from insurance after BCBS stated they tried multiple times to work with the provider staff. We received and cashed the check. Serious warning to anyone that comes here to consider all of the above. Again no opinions on the dentist only the office staff and the business itself being ran. Update 5/20/2023 The office staff is attempting to collect a 155.04 payment when our dental insurance benefits states only 8.04 is owed from my own cleaning & X Rays. Once again the office staff is demonstrating they are not capable of running the administrative duties. The $8.04 is for the Oral Exam: Comprehensive while the other remaining amount was paid via Check #27323658 and was issued to SOUTH CHARLOTTE DENTISTRY on 02/04/2023 for $281.96. Highly suggest avoiding this location."
