"Great guy. Came out to work on my mower, but the mower in question was not worth working on. Instead of trying to rip me off, he took the time yea time to explain that the mower is not worth fixing and suggested I replace it. Solid and honest! Thank you"
"I have been trying to get up with this company for the past week for 2 mobile lawn mower repairs. I have texted, called and left a voicemail with the number and emailed. Still have not gotten a response. Not sure if the company is still operating but if not, please update your voicemail and webpages. Have sense updated to 3 stars. The company reached out once a google review was posted."
"John Burchetta, owner of Mow Sharp is a first class individual . His service and expertise and quick response was on spot! I would highly recommend using this company. I didn't have the vehicle to take to some repair shop and was nice for his company to come to my residence. Work was completed in no more than 20 mins."
"They were fast, I’ll give them that. I had a deck belt off, they came, the younger repairman by hand loosely placed belt back on its track, I had told them it smokes and shakes when deck is attempting to engage then belt comes off it also will shut off when in reverse, not attempting to mow, I know it can’t mow in reverse, it shuts off just trying to reverse the tractor as you would a car. He took one short path around the yard,he never put it in reverse to test if it’d shut off , they changed the blades, which I provided, the entire time they kept telling me it should only be 2 bladed, and I had purchased 3 according to the manufacture manual, they didn’t argue per se but that certainly didn’t believe that this female was correct. When they got the mower up on their lift, they said “look at that, well that’s a first”. They also came in 2 vehicles, I live in a small residential area with one business across the street “grandfather in” and they without my knowledge and without asking the business, parked their enclosed utility trailer attached to an suv, just as they were leaving, the business owner came out and asked them to move it,he (MowSharp) promised me he’d phone them when he left to apologize, he did not. I returned to my mower and not even 20 seconds in, the belt “they fixed by hand” fell off again and my tractor now wouldn’t even drive, I phoned them immediately and was told it was out of their area of knowledge basically and I would need to take it to somewhere like Honest Engine. Basically I was charged $130 for my blades to be changed. Actually the belt needed replacement, and the proper way to replace that belt is to drop the deck. I feel they’re a “quick fix band-aid” type service. At least in my case it seemed. If you need a simple mower task completed, blades changed, seat adjusted, oil checked, etc..you might can take a chance that your mower wouldn’t be in worse shape like mine when they left as before they arrived. I’ve been told by those that know mowers to take them to Coastline Mower Repair on Market Street. I’m not gonna be calling them((MowSharp)anymore."
"The belt on my riding lawn mower that engages the blades jumped the track. I didn't have the strength to get it back where it needed to go, which was on an awkward to get to pulley with a metal guard on it. Contacted MowSharp through their website email submission. They contacted and set up an appointment for me just a few days later. Team came out and got the mower all fixed up. Very nice people, great service and great price. Will definitely contact again for any further mower issues. Thank you Team!!"
