"I arrived for my appointment this November as a first time client. With all of the great reviews I was excited to see what my results would be all around. From start to finish: I was sat at wash station after a short wait to have my scalp roughly scrubbed and scratched then deep conditioned. Next I was moved to a chair where a re-twist was rapidly and carelessly begun; aware now that this is why his process is so fast. Sitting under the dryer I had time to look over the couple styles I picked, my outfit for a weekend bday party, dinner etc.. On to the style seat he begins pulling and twisting, pushing pins, more pulling.. I felt like I was back in an African braid shop again! He was done, the style was complete and it was nice. I checked the mirror, approved and got outta there. When I got in the car under closer inspection I noticed that my edges were pulled to the extreme. If I would've known at that time I would be hairline-less and down a few locs I promise you I would have taken my hair down that afternoon! After a couple of days it was still a bit pulled but not as uncomfortable. After about 2 1/2 weeks I took my hair down... My horror as I feel and see intertwined locs, parts uneven and messy, "knots"/bumps at the root of several locs.. lesson learned for me as I had decided to try a new stylist after 4 years of my beautiful loc journey. I wish I could've given a more positive review as I had hoped to, but unfortunately this has been my experience."

"This was our first visit here and Jermiles did a great job re-twisting my son's hair. Service is 5 stars but the shop condtion itself is 1 to 2 stars. I wouldn't let that keep you from getting your hair done here though because the price is right and the service is excellent. Getting an appointment is quick and easy too. I found this shop last week and got in for an appointment one week later. Most of the time I get someone to do my son's hair in their home and I'm tired of the hassle. This is a much better option."
