"I wanted to really like this place but unfortunately i guess unless you get Helly herself you won’t get quality work. I got the lady that sits next to Helly who spoke no English and she really hurt me and made three of my fingers bleed, i got my nails done on Sunday and by Tuesday a nail had chipped, and i couldn’t get them fixed before a vacation on Thursday so now, on vacation two nails have chipped, it was SNS and that usually lasts weeks on my nails and for the price i do not expect that low of quality. I paid almost $70 for SNS and it was only one shade no design, no lotion, no oil or scrub just plain SNS! And now I’m on vacation with chipped nails, I’m not happy with this at all and won’t be returning."

"Nails by Helly is a wonderful place! They are all kind and take their time and make sure you have exactly what you are wanting. I also took my 86 year old grandma with me who has had 2 strokes and they were so compassionate and sweet to her and gentle. They didn't try to rush or anything like that! I highly recommend this place to any and everyone!!! I have been going here for years and will never go anywhere else!!!"

"PLEASE BE AWARE!!!! I went to this shop only to have my Nails- hands and feet painted. I requested Gel and was informed there would be an additional fee for the “Mermaid” collection. After my service I was charged $90! Yes…. $90 for hands and feet painted. No manicure No pedicure just Gel Polish. I paid because I am a honest women, but this owner is not! Less then 1 week later my nails were peeling and lifting form every direction. I contacted the owner to let her know the High End Gel polish she is utilizing and charging for is low end quality. Sadly her only response was she could give me $10 off my next service. Haha How sad is she to charge working class customers high dollar prices for low quality service??? This is just a PSA to inform you to consider all things before spending your money on a owner that is so low!"

"This was my first time here. The location is central, and the salon was cute and clean. I appreciated being greeted as soon as I walked into the door. They had a good assortment of colors to choose from. It was not busy, but My pedicure felt rushed. The nail tech doing my pedicure didn’t seem to pay much attention to the actual pedicure, just skimming through the details. She didn’t notice she accidentally got the edge of her jacket in my wet toe paint when she was moving around and never fixed the smudge mark, just painted clear over top of it. She had trouble getting my shoes on when we were finished, trying to force them on with my toe separators getting stuck on my flip flops, and then left them halfway on my feet, so I had to fix them. It seemed that she did not want to do the service and It didn’t seem like she was taking any extra time to make me feel pampered in the least, which is the best part of any pedicure or salon experience. My fill in was ok. I appreciated the time the tech took on my nails, she did smooth them down so they weren’t bulky, however I had to go home and reshape all of them. Some of my nails were round shape and some were completely square shaped. There was no finishing touches. No lotion, no hand scrub. Really just the very basic. They do charge an extra fee to use your card, so bring your cash with you to avoid that. I do feel this salon could put more effort into their guests experience by paying attention to the details and creating a relaxing and quality experience."
