"Hooked us the first we visited. Food and service was incredible, steak was fantastic. Went back today, 02/03/2024. Ordered medium steak, received my steak well done. They remade another steak, which was good. Fries were cold, prices are high, service is low. Almost two hours for a in and out experience. Won't be back."
"So far every experience has been good. We always get great service and the food has always been delicious. As far as alcohol goes their beer selection is great, cocktails are so so."
"This’ll be my last meal from Sammy Gs. What was once a restaurant gem of High Point (years ago) has reached a new depressing level of degradation. The food used to be good as well as the menu selection. Not sure what happened. Restaurant is in a desperate need of an overhaul. Pictured are my feeder shrimp that reeked of low tide that were supposed to go with what should be labeled on the menu as a “Great Value Brand Caesar Salad” Hopefully this place can get back to what it once was. I truly did used to enjoy date nights here. Also… don’t get me started on the ribs I ordered in the past. They came from a pig that was an emaciated marathon runner."
"This is THE place for brunch. I wish I had found it when I first got here! I'm a travel nurse and constantly looking for a good Sunday brunch. The atmosphere is very cool. Had Casey Kasem top 40 from the 70's playing. The food is incredible. I had the pretzel for an app...didn't realize it's a PRETZEL. I had the crab benny for entree and ate the whole thing! Creme brulee was a little disappointing, but still had a good taste. Dema is a great server, very attentive, helpful and so sweet. Don't miss out on this place if you're ever in town!"
"I went here with my daughter & son in law for a late Sunday lunch. What an amazing place to dine! The food was amazing and the service was remarkable! Although a bit crowded, the servers seemed to work the crowd well and delivered perfect service. There was not a wait and the ambiance of the restaurant was suitable for a date night, family outing as well as bar setting. They even had outdoor seating. The menu was filled with many options for any hungry stomach and the cooks certainly didn’t disappoint when our food arrived."
