Reviews of Christopher K Anene & Associates P.A
"I was a little scared coming here with all the bad reviews. I've been twice, have to go back in a month. Staff is nice. Dentist was typical dentist: he's not supposed to be your best friend chatting about life...he is a provider checking and assessing your teeth and gums...no issues with him. The desk staff and hygienists were nice too. If something changes I'll update my review but, kind of struggling to see the reason this office gets hated on."
"This place started out great friendly people and great doctor. All the sudden we’ve had to be rescheduled multiple times I had an appointment in August that had to be rescheduled to October then I get A call that they now have to Reschedule until late November. I pleaded with them on the phone that I need to get in there in the next two weeks. The lady in the phone had not a Care in the world. I told her this was completely unacceptable and that they need to figure out what they need to do to reschedule me. Clearly, zero customer Service and very quick to rush me off the phone. I asked her if she could speak to the doctor and see if they can definitely squeeze me in (not we will check cancellations) she refused to do that and rushed me off the phone instead. I have a schedule at my job that I cannot make an appointment in November or December. Now I’m at the point where it’s gonna be probably close to a year by the time I can make another appointment. Absolutely unacceptable when you reschedule people if you have to work a couple nights late, that’s how a business is ran especially when you cancel on me two separate times! And then push me back more than two months each time. Your front desk is the face of the company if they’re not willing to work with customers on your mistake not Mind, then you’re gonna lose a lot more people especially when people are basically going to the dentist once a year because of your cancellations this needs to be rectified immediately"
"Everything was excellent. They got my insurance over the phone and let me know my copay right then before even confirming the appointment. They saw me immediately at my appointment time. The hygienist was very knowledgeable and friendly and so was the dentist. Definitely won't be going anywhere else."
"Re: Cigna ALWAYS makes the 1st appointment for the patient because the insurance is a HMO dental; so clearly your office doesn't know what it's doing... Not because I'm too busy but thank you. Your office called for me to CONFIRM my appointment and I did. Had YOU done your due diligence.. You would have found the error that I was not properly assigned, but you did not. Your office called the day BEFORE and the MORNING OF my appointment to blindside me with information you should of been aware of from properly prepping the visit. CIGNA said that it was NOT true, you COULD have taken me and that you COULD have transferred it yourselves. Your office had 2 months to do that. Don't play the blame game because you didn't do your job. You're incompetent, obtuse and rude. Take accountability. ____________________________________ My dental HMO coordinated this appointment after finding out there was a closer dentist to my home in network in February. The office left a message on 4/19 to confirm the appointment and i returned the call and left a message to confirm on 4/23. I use my personal cell along w the office phone for business daily with builders, contractors etc. So after a busy day when i missed a call from an unknown source I didn't give any thought to it. The call was 4/25 @ 9:07 am the day before my appointment. My father is in hospice and i left work to go to the facility where he was at to tend to him. Today i went and visited my dad since i had the day off for my appointment and then called the dentist office to let them know i would be 3 min late due to traffic. The lady was rude saying she left multiple messages that i was not assigned to their office and they couldn't honor the appointment. She said i called you today - you didn't answer.. I was w my father that's dying.. my phone was on vibrate. 2 calls... The day before and the day of. That is not multiple calls or advanced notice. Had they had done their due diligence when they called me to confirm my appointment, they would have seen I was not assigned to them and they could have rectified it then, but they didn't because they didn't do their job... They waited until the day before, which is highly incompetent. I called Cigna so they could sort it out since they made the appointment. The representative let me know that that was not the case that actually the dentist office could still honor the appointment and assign me to themselves. She herself called the dentist office and they refused. The Cigna representative was very helpful and found me another dentist office. I was able to get an appointment at a completely different dentist office. They have MyChart, they have multiple ways to communicate with their patients, they're very friendly, and very professional. I have to drive further, but after the experience that I had, it'll be worth it. This dentist office does not care about people, they are not professional, they are not timely and they are rude. They have an archaic system for communicating with patients and they never answer their phones. Looks like my review mirrors the myriads of other reviews. Steer clear. In a world where you can be anythin.. be kind.. ____________________________________"
