TDF Furniture (Wilkesboro)

"UPDATE: Just so everyone is aware, the Wells Fargo "credit card" you receive through them is nothing but an "identification card" that allows them to reapply for another loan in your name. Therefore, the faxes and signatures are required. Still rather silly. Despite the name, they only have new stuff; fair enough. The store is set up for maximum profit by only ever having two ladies in the showroom and a fellow in storage, which looks like an old house. The parking lot does not have lines and is in massive disrepair. Last I visited, I tried to use the credit card that I had received through them. I was told they did not have a card reader and they would have to call their home store to get verification and fax information to and fro. Then they just stare at me. I assume they wanted me to select another tender, but I have THEIR credit card. After all that, they didn't know how to do it. About 45 minutes and for signatures later, job done. Why can't they have a card reader? Or run it like they did before card readers were everywhere? Short story: the staff is nice, place is clean inside. Parking lot is horrid and you're probably better off using cash. Cheaper? No, but better quality than Big Lots."

"Lucky to have driven a little out of the way to see their selection. The staff were great, friendly and professional, there to greet you but gave you enough space to let you look and sit on all the furniture. The store offers delivery and haul away services for small fee. Was happy to do my business with Dianne and Cameron."

"Lost a sale at Wilkes location…told them I only needed mattress, not box springs. Lady said if I did buy set there would be no warranty. I liked the mattress. But like the 10 year warranty I got from elsewhere."
