"Went to Lynn Nail Spa for the first time yesterday. They only had two people working on a Saturday. Waited 30 minutes before they were able to start working on my nails, not really a big deal. Typically if there's a wait, other nail places will let you know how long but this place did not. Then I find out they only have 6-8 choices for SNS dip powder. The man took over an hour and a half to do my nails. They (like other nail places these days) didn't do a true manicure, they just take the old polish off and put on the new one. I was getting irritated with his lack of speed. I was supposed to go on a ride-a-long with a local EMT service and I was late. I had to tell them to leave without me because they got a call at the start of the shift. Being late caused my ride-a-long to be cancelled because they were just too busy to come back to get me. The man did not care that he was taking too long and did not apologize even though he could hear me on the phone telling the EMT how I would be late and how long I'd been there. I was there after closing time and the other person there was clearly annoyed but did not offer to help or even speak to me. My nails ultimately came out pretty good after he smoothed out all the bumps he made. Terrible customer service for me. There was another lady there when I first arrived and the other person working was very friendly to her and she seemed like a regular. So maybe they just don't like new customers. Either way, I won't be coming back."
"First professional manicure. I usually do my own. I've been having trouble with my nails peeling and thought a professional might be a place to go and have tips on how to combat this problem. She just said how nice my nails were and they were fine! Um, no. I came home with my cuticles and the sidewalls trimmed back too far. Some of the spots are sore and weeping. The tips of my nails are rough. I had to use my nano file when I got home to keep them from snagging. Polish job is fine, but it didn't last any longer than what I do at home (2 days). I won't be back."
"Went to Lynn Nails today for the first time and loved the service. I've been going to Gastonia for years and decided to find somewhere closer to where I live. Only 6 min from my house and they did an excellent job!! I will be back...thank you so much."
