"I have loved stopping in here every since I was young. They have some of the coolest novelty stuff you can imagine. It always makes me laugh just walking through the store and seeing some of the stuff they have. Stop in check out their cool stuff when you are near."

"I went to Spencer’s at cross creek mall. Everything was fine until checkout. The “manager” Lisa, who was working this store on Feb 05 2024, had asked me if I wanted to donate 10 dollars for breast cancer fundraiser. I told her know. She then asked if I wanted to donate $5 towards it. Again, I said no. She carried on saying that the money all goes towards it, not to the store. I said no the third time, then she was like, how about buying (let’s call it xyz) at this point I told her if she keeps harassing me, I would not be returning. The first time I said no, should have been the end of it, but nope. Once I mentioned harassment she then turned to one of her employees talking about how “I’m harassing her after helping her in the back there” making sure she said it loud enough for me to hear. D at that point? NOPE she said she was harrassing me loudly once again (I feel she was trying to embarrass/bully me at this point). She made me feel very uncomfortable standing there trying to complete the check out process, so I asked the cashier what her name was and he told me, but then she stepped closer to me (probably trying to intimidate me) and was like, “my name is Lisa” as if she knew she would have no repercussions for what she did. So I turned around and proceeded to walk out the door. She then added the fact that she was “store manager” like it was going to deter me or possibly intimidate me into not writing this review. Hopefully she will be demoted or fired because I noticed that someone mentioned her by name a few years ago under google reviews for poor customer service and talking trash about customers. If she worked at my place of business, I would fire her on the spot! If not I wouldn’t think twice about demoting her and place her back into remedial training. I wouldn’t want her as the face of my company, making Spencer’s look really bad and dragging my good name through the mud, but that is just me. My experience wasn’t a 1, I just had no option to put negative number ratings."

"I was in there yesterday and overheard an argument with the store clerk and a customer. The clerks behavior was disgusting. She cussed out the customer and proceeded to try to fight her. This is the third time I’ve been in there and the customer service was horrible! I used to love this store but won’t be shopping here anymore."

"Always helpful staff, I’m a wheelchair user and I felt like the people who were there were great moving stuff helping me grab things and even assisting with payments because I am lower down than the average person! Always a great experience coming in to this location. My boyfriend and I visit often and we love the sales. Wonderful location! I would love to see you guys expand in a bigger store. It is tough to navigate in a wheelchair. But y’all are perfect! Perfect people, perfect products, and perfect atmosphere."

"Very good. All the staff are very friendly. The atmosphere is always cheerful and fun. I'm glad that they are kind enough to listen to me about what I'm looking for. I will shop there again."
