"This barber is good if you have short or no hair. I’m a male who has naturally curly hair and a fair amount of it. I usually keep my hair around 4in and curly. I went in to this barber since it was closer than my usual barber and that was a huge mistake. I asked for a only a 1in trim and to keep the same curly style. What I got was a 3in trim in the front, 1/2in trim in the back, 2in trim on the left side and a 1in trim on the right. I walked in with great hair and walked out looking like I had a misshaped head with a mullet. My hair is unevenly cut, not layered properly, and is a complete and utter disaster. Another thing I noticed was he only used a trimmer and does not posses any pair of hair cutting rated scissors. A trimmer is fine when doing fades or cleaning up the lower parts of the hair but should not be used to cut the whole head. Reason 1. It’s very unhealthy for your hair to be cut with a trimmer, 2. You get uneven hair cuts, 3. It’s just a sign of laziness or lack of skill (probably both in this instance). Usually it take my professional barber 15min to cut my hair properly, it took this man 2min to completely ruin my hair. My usual professional barber charges $16 and this man charges $15, and honestly he should really be charging only $2. This is the worst hair cut I have ever received. Only go here if you have short or little to no hair. I wish I could get my money back, but I doubt that will happen."

"All the way from Alaska!! We traveled down to NC for my daughters wedding at Duplin Winery. I needed a haircut before my daughters big day and I was lucky enough to come across Ideal Barber shop. Ray fixed me up with a nice haircut and enjoyable conversation. I doubt I will ever visit that part of the country again but if I do I will be stopping in for another haircut."
