"I chose Coastal Cosmetic Family Dentistry based almost entirely on it's proximity to my new home in Southport, NC. With high hopes, I attended my first visit with them yesterday. Suffice it to say that I left fully confident that I was exactly where I needed to be. The people were extraordinary in every way and the facility is not only beautiful, but also on the leading edge as far as modern technology is concerned."

"I was told that they accepted my insurance over the phone. When I went in I was told once I was already in the chair that I would have to pay upfront and insurance would reimburse me which I thought was weird. Turns around they do not accept my insurance and only a fraction of the cost was covered. I had to wait in the waiting room for about 40 minutes between my exam and cleaning, which is not a huge deal, but coupled with incorrectly being told my insurance was accepted, earns this office 1 star."

The staff, the dentist and the incredible rooms - where do you get to see more than 5 different birds outside the window to help you forget that you're sitting in a dental chair? Finding a dentist after moving to the area was one of those things I dreaded. Finding Coastal Cosmetic Family Dentistry and Dr. Aaron Wilharm has been an absolute blessing. Dr. Wilharm isn't just a great dentist but a caring individual (from patient to staff it's evident in how he treats people) with a phenomenal sense of humor to boot. My dental hygienist Amy made me feel relaxed, made what usually is an unpleasant procedure one I no longer dread, and by the end of the visit I felt like I was visiting a friend. I received a follow up call from Amy to see how I was doing the same evening and another call from the practice the next day. Our entire family is so happy to have found this practice! Thank you! "Jordan did a great job cleaning my teeth. She was very thorough yet gentle. Dr. Courtney and the the ladies at the front desk were all very nice. In my 5 years with Coastal I have seen most of the Doctors and many different employees and I have never had a problem that they couldn’t fix!! During that time I have had braces, crowns, fillings and cleanings. Love this place and the employees!!"
