"I was trying to deliver food to my boyfriend before a road trip but they never delivered and when I called the restaurant they reported that they never even got an order from Kickback."
"Kickback AVL has epic delivery drivers and the awesome service. They have the best selection of restaurants in the area."
"First time using this delivery service and was very happy. Loved having more local Options and everything came correct and timely. Wish I had known about it before!"
"For anyone giving this delivery company a 1 star review because your order took longer than expected… you must be severely out of touch with today’s economy. Restaurants are understaffed, creating longer ticket times. Most restaurants take an average of 25 minutes to prepare a Togo order. On Friday and Saturday nights, it’s 45 minutes to an hour and a half. On top of that, all delivery companies are also understaffed. Delivery companies employ contracted drivers; not salary employees. They cannot “schedule” or “demand” drivers to work. So if only 6 drivers show up to drive, it’s going to take even longer for your order to arrive. No matter who you choose to deliver your food. “The restaurant is only 15 minutes away.” Yeah, okay. That’s not very close now, is it? Kickback is the only company I know of that delivers your food 30-45 minutes out of town. While that doesn’t seem like a big deal, delivering YOUR food takes that driver away from other orders for 30-90 minutes. How much did you tip your delivery driver? $2? $5? Was it enough to cover their insurance, gas, vehicle maintenance and time? “But delivery drivers make an hourly wage, right?” WRONG. They survive off your tips, and your tips alone. Kickback is awesome. I support Kickback because they are a local company supporting local restaurants. I tip my driver well because they are working hard and I appreciate them. I understand that my order might take longer than originally estimated, and I accept that it is out of their control. It’s not like they’re sitting back saying “I’m feeling evil today, so I’m gonna make deliveries take extra long. Buahahaha.” Try to understand that everyone is struggling in this economy, and have a little empathy."
