"This used to be my favorite place to shop for groceries. All the qualities that made it a great grocery store, still remain except for one thing. I believe this grocery store is price gouging it's customers. The prices are downright ridiculous. I believe it is because they cater more to the lower income shoppers on food stamps. If you think about it, that is a double whammy because these folks are struggling from the start. The store is a convenient location and I believe proximity plays a huge role in where people shop. It angers and saddens me at the same time. I used to hold the owners of this store in high regard but that opinion has declined as their prices have increased. Never thought I'd feel this way about "hometown" IGA."
