"So this is the third time I've used Martinez Garage in Lumberton, NC and the first two experiences were fine, in fact I thought they did a great job. This last time did it for me. I dropped my van off a Saturday morning on August 15th 2020, and was told that day, that they were busy and it would probably be Monday before they can look at my van. I was totally fine with that. So I rented a van for work and assumed that by the follow Wednesday I would be picking up my van. Wednesday came and pass no phone call. I called Thursday to find out what was going on with my van and the owner explained that a lot was going on and he hadn't taken a look at it but said he'll get on it and asked if I would be patient. So I thought well as long as I have it by Saturday (Aug. 22nd) then no worries. Saturday comes no update so I call. I was told again that they haven't had a chance to even look at it but he again asked if I would be patient he would start it Monday and be done by Tuesday. Reluctantly I said okay, so when Tuesday came and I received no update, I decide to give him a call because at this point I'm hot and letting him know I'll just take it somewhere else. It's costing me money daily to rent another van that within one week should have been fixed; but at this point he stops answering my calls and if it hadn't been for me working so late and the garage being closed when I get done everyday then I would have been picked up my van. So today Aug. 27th, I asked my wife to call on her phone and low and behold he answers just to tell her he hasn't even looked at it yet. I will never be coming back or advising anyone to do the same. Simply tell someone you can't get to it for whatever the reason, instead of wasting people's time and money."
