"Advertised and sells you on being a remodeler,listed above) but a little over a week into our project John Wilson stood in my completely demoed kitchen with a smug attitude and said “I just sell cabinets”. He had a licensed contractor come into the project who is also a licensed Electrician and sell us on being OUR Contractor and quote me on part of the work being done. We discovered the contractor gave a proposal which did not include near the amount of electrical needing to be done, $300 allowance for $3000 in work. Much of the work promised was not in that proposal. Let me be clear this is NOT that person that he sold us as a contractors issue but John Wilson over promising and underdelivering. He also stood in our demoed kitchen and said to me that homeowners a lot of times are their own contracting. Which he never told myself or my husband who had several Meetings on the plan and our VERY specific budget! We called to get our quote on our countertops 7 days into a 21 day project with templating supposed to be happening the following day per his schedule. We were told he never scheduled! Also, we needed to let him go as our CONTRACTOR if we wanted to deal with them directly.... NO PROBLEM! He was fired during that phone call. Luckily the countertop folks who are a month out are helping us and trying to get back on schedule. We looked at other reviews and did our homework. We are a military family who just moved here and worked really hard to get that money. We just wanted to have this done by Christmas and we started in October. We remained very focused on maintaining a budget and he didn’t care a bit. We are THOUSANDS over now! Asked all of the right questions and unfortunately he screwed us over completely. Well... I guess I did get my cabinets but that’s about it. And apparently that all he does. DO NOT USE THIS PERSON EVER! After posting this review they threatened to not honor our cabinet warranty that came with the payments."
