"Rating : 5 stars Car : MINI Cooper 2005 Reason : good place to take your MINI to. Mine is 2005 and not only do they do a professional job but also a honest job as well. I use to go to dealership for all repairs but I think from now on I’ll continue to just go to Monkey Wrench even for oil changes. Last time I had a repair I dropped my car off there at the shop and they even picked me up once when finished. Very appreciative of the customer service and skills along with knowledge. Would I recommend to others : Yes Cost : Parts and labor are reasonable."
"So I brought my truck to them for some issues that it was having. I have an extended warranty and advised them of this. They got my truck on Friday and called me Monday and said they found some issues and that the warranty company was not covering the whole price, and I would have to come out of pocket 900 dollars. Mind you, my deductible is 100, and I did sign that I would pay the diagnostics fee of 300 dollars if they didn't find anything. So I called the warranty company and found out they found the priced online at advance auto parts. I called back to the service Manger Aaron and he said, "Let me call them, and I'll call you back." This is now Tuesday the 29th. He calls me back and says he can't find prices for what they are saying. I start asking him why he can't get the prices on advance auto website and the Manger Aaron flat out tells me I can get them for the price but I am not in the business to break even I'm in the business to make money. So I asked if they would work on the fees, and he said no. I then asked to speak to Josh, the owner, about my situation, and Aaron said he was not available and won't be till maybe Saturday, and he would call me whenever he had time. This shop doesn't stand by honesty, integrity, or anything they say. This is simply a shop that cares about money and nothing else. Watch out if you go to them as they only care about money, as their manager says. Also, I have already found a repair place that is doing the repairs for the cost of the items and not trying to rip you off for extra money. Update: That is correct they did call and try to get us to come back after they fired the person who said he was the manger. They also offered us to give us a credit to go back but who is going to accept that once the problems were done. Not to mention, I already took my truck to another shop that has not only fixed it but did it under my 100 dollar deductible. As far as changing the review. I did tell Josh I would update the review if they did make the situation right. Is that blackmail by saying hey ill update my review if we can make it right. No, that's not blackmail. That's what a normal person would do.They would do an update saying hey Josh called me and fixed it, and at least that part would be in there. I never once said I would delete the review if you give me my money back. So this is my updated review. The only solution they had was to come back to the same place where you were done wrong, and any person who has been in that situation doesn't want to come back. He can try to use my words to make his point of view but the fact is your service advisor who now has been fired told the warranty company the wrong info and due to that and his advisor words of needing to make money this is why were here right now. There was a misunderstanding that is true but when it's your fault as a business you make it right and sometimes it costs you to fix your workers mistakes or miss understandings."
"I had a last minute request of these guys and they came through. After not being able to get into my normal shop I called these guys letting them know what I’m asking is a lot and if they couldn’t get it done in the timeline I was asking I wasn’t going to hold it against them. We had a trip planned and we were leaving that Thursday morning. We couldn’t drop the van off until Tuesday morning. I knew a couple things that were wrong but asked if they would do a diagnostic to check for some other things. They found a bigger issue I had heard about previously but it had gotten worse. With a full schedule they squeezed my vehicle in between others and worked longer hours to meet the unrealistic timeline. Josh, Aaron, and Anna were all great to speak with. I’m thankful for the techs I didn’t speak with and worked on my car too."
