"I was shopping for a particular jacket. They told me they did not have my size. I found the jacket in my size in another area of the store. When the manager learned what I had in his size he refused to sell it to me. Bad business."

"I went to Jos A. Bank to get a new suit. It was very last minute as I was intending to wear the suit that same evening (my fault for poor planning). Nevertheless, the wonderful representative (and I regret that I did not get her name) was able to help me. I told her what I wanted, she found it immediately, and she even managed to get it set up so that I could pick up the suit later that afternoon. I was extremely impressed by her professionalism and by the store as a whole. I will go back there the next time I need formal attire"

"Great experience working with Billy and Richard. Don't understand what a lot of these bad reviews are talking about. The employees are straight shooters who tell you exactly what you need to hear good or bad - very honest. I was corrected when I assumed my pants size would work (they didn't fit correctly when put into more tailored fits) and I was told to "throw that size out the window". This was the correct advise to receive even though it meant I needed to size up in pants -- hard advise for a big guy to hear. As a result, my suit fit turned out amazing after a little tailoring, way better than any suit fit me before. Tailoring a suit takes time. Make sure to plan accordingly if you need a suit for a particular occasion. The employees here are very knowledgable, leave the ego at home and let them guide you and you'll look the business."

"This is the best Jos A Bank in Raleigh. I've tried the other ones multiple times and they either never have what I'm looking for, or they are short staffed. I always get great service at this location and they always have what I need. Everyone is nice and helpful. They usually have good sales too."

"horrible customer service. older white guy that has grey hair was rude and dismissive, young black man in a white coat was not helpful and quite arrogant. neither store clerks could even point me in the correct direction of dress shirts as none of their selections were organized by neck and arm length size and the 1905s and the traditional, slim, and tailored fits were mixed together. worst part of all was that no sizes were labeled on the front of the shelves and the shirts while color coordinated were mixed neck sizes. I waited for thirty minutes and was never given any help. worst experience i’ve ever had at jos a. banks. if you can, go to a different location"
