Day Spa Nails

"Went in today to get my nails done for the first time in three months. I was trying to give my real nails a little break. Got there and there was only one customer. I was greeted by a guy named Brian that said he would take care of me so I sat down in his chair and he started. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and asked him if he could do it and he said yes but not exactly like the picture which I completely understand. He started to then put the fake nails on and then cut them. He didn’t ask how short or long I wanted my nails he just took it upon himself to cut them the way he wanted them to be. He then asks me if they were okay and I said they were a little short but I could manage, this was his first mistake. So he proceeds to start filing my nails like he’s on a mission. He was filing so hard and so fast he was making me nervous and I immediately felt myself get hot. Mind you there’s only one other person in there so they’re not busy so I’m wondering why he’s rushing. I told him my nails were sore and he said “oh that’s normal because of the acrylic setting” I said okay, second mistake! So then I show him my design I wanted again and he starts to attempt to do it. What I wanted wasn’t hard, it was basically just French tips but slanted with a couple of snowflakes. This guy painted my nails with the big nail brush and started to draw the snowflake. His snowflake turned out ok and that’s all I’ll give him because he could have did better and if he would have took his time to actually look and pay attention to the picture and detail it could have came out a lot better than it did, third mistake! He then proceeds to put the gel top on my nails and I asked him if that was the gel top and he said yes, I said are you not going to clean my lines up. I mean they were so thick and crooked it wasn’t even funny and he said “oh we don’t have the brush for that” I said you just used it. He then starts to file all the white off my nail instead of just cleaning it up. Then he gets the little bottle of white nail polish with the skinny brush and draws the white lines and tries to repeat the same process. Again I had to ask him are you going to clean them up and he said they were fine. Mind you I’ve had this similar design done before somewhere else and they looked nothing like what he had going on. By this point I’m fed up. He done cut my skin on 5 different fingers and was still filing my nails for what? Filing over the cut and blood and not caring that I was even bleeding and was going to probably use that same nail file on the next person. He was literally sweating bullets after I told him about himself like he’s never have anyone criticize his work which I know isn’t true. He was sweating so hard it was dripping onto the nail file and other things and he was still trying to file my nails. I literally had to jerk my hand away from his because he want gripping it so tight it was cutting off my circulation. He then got up and went to wipe the sweat off his face and came back and wanted to smile at me like no sir, not today, not me as if he wanted to try again or keep going. I said no I’ll wait on someone else to do my nails. There were only 3 workers in there because everyone else was on vacation they said which is understandable seeing it’s only a few days after Christmas. But he was literally the only one who spoke English so imagine how hard it was for me to try to explain to the next nail tech what happened. Of course he didn’t try to help me explain which I already knew he wouldn’t. But I showed her my nails and how they looked and how bad I was cut up and she was like I’m sorry. I showed her what I wanted and asked her if she could do it and she said no and I was like thank you for being honest that’s all he had to say instead of attempting something wasting both of our time and tearing my fingers up. She did better than him but I still wasn’t satisfied. I will not be returning!!!"

"ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE they messed my Nails up Saturday I went back today to get them fixed the same guy took almost all the acrylic off cut my cuticles and repainted them the same way he had Saturday he also had one of the nastiest attitudes and after me telling him I did not want my Nails shorter he kept filing them down not even listening to me. My Nails look nothing like the picture I showed him and they look exactly like a 5 y/o did them"

"The guy that did my nails at station 5 either was on a drug or needed one they wouldn't have to worry about my service anymore I have arthritis sir."

"When my sister and I had went there were 2 older women not the young girls like normal and when I asked for acrylic on my toes they kept saying no well after that we tell them not to do something they still done it especially rounding someone else's toe then made my toe bleed never washed the tools off or anything and put acetone nail polish removal on my toe. We will never go back."

"First time going in, on a friend’s recommendation. Nice environment, attentive employees. Even though I paid I’m not 100% happy. “I wouldn’t have paid for..” is not something I know how to do. It’s Monday night, got them done Saturday evening and my cuticles still hurt from the cuts. They also already look like they need filled. Probably because I moved due to cuticle pain but all of them look like that. I’m trying to find a consistent new place and I will give it one more try, with a different tech, before looking elsewhere. (Pics with arrows show cuticle cuts)"
