"***update*** The owner reached out to make things right and “fix my nails to make me happy.” I reluctantly agreed to go in on an early morning at 9:15. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment. She arrived 20 minutes after I got there and another tech took the polish off my nails. When it came time to fix my nail they changed up on me. The owner tried to convince me, my nails did not look that bad. She began back-pedaling. She wouldn't even file my left hand to the same length as the right hand. She actually started gas-lighting me stating they were the same length. After failing to convince me, she brought another tech over and had him tell me she wasn’t going to fix all my nails because I paid for a fill in. She only agreed to buff my nails. I began to show them the errors, unevenness, the lumps where the old acrylic and fill acrylic were not blended and shaped correctly. I showed the photos of my nails before the fill-in. I had to tell her to buff my nails and where to blend them. I had to tell her they weren’t shaped the same. She kept trying to convince me I wasn’t seeing what I was showing them. It dawned on me that she thought she could just repolish my nails for a better review. No ma’am. She further went on to say my nails will grow out and then I could come back in a week. She filed only my left thumbnail down. She then tried to convince me that the poor shaping just needed a better Builder Gel. She polished my nails and stated, “they look better, right, and you gonna change the review right?” I am changing the review I’m actually reducing it another star because while she was doing my nails, we observed yellow patchiness growth under my nail. I had pointed it out prior to getting the fill in to the first tech, and he refused to acknowledge it as a problem saying it was old acrylic. I thought surely the owner would agree the acrylic needed to be soaked off and redone. I even offered to pay for that. She instead suggested it was nothing to worry about but I could come back for a new set and pedicure. They care nothing about the health of your nails; they just want to get you in and get you out. You don’t get a 5 star review rating when you knowingly leave people’s nails to grow fungus under acrylic. I soaked off my own nail today and that yellow on the thumb nail was green. Im so mad. *****original review two weeks prior***** My experience here was not great. We arrived and waited about 15 minutes in front and another 6 minutes at the desk. The towels and stations were clean but he implements were covered h debris. My nail tech finally sat down, fresh from his outside smoke break. I commented that his hands were cold. The people are nice but they work haphazardly and rushed. M daughter was injure by the nail tech who used the drill without a sander and took off some of her skin. The client next to me kept telling her tech she needed a tip. The tech preceded on as if she didn’t understand/hear her. The client said it three more times before someone else intervened. I believe she translated for her. My acrylic fill in is so uneven.The male tech didn't blend the old acrylic with the new and it looks bad. The woman who did my daughter’s nails did my gel polish. The colors are pretty but it just looks like a kid did my nails not a pro. I feel bad writing this negative review because the lady was really really nice and they seem like sweet people, but they just need a lot more training, and they need to slow down and pay attention to detail giving every client the care they are paying for. It’s sad because after this experience, my daughter doesn’t even want her nails done anymore. She’s just over it."
