"I moved here from Orlando almost a year ago now and went to at least 5 or 6 different salons before finding Shiny Nails through instagram. The techs here are always so nice and they always do an amazing job and they make sure you’re happy with your nails before you leave. The issue I was having with other salons was that my nails would always chip so much before my next fill and I would inconveniently have to get them repaired but when I started getting them done here, they rarely ever chip. I recommended this place to my mom and she has also become a regular here (she says John is the best). I HIGHLY recommend Shiny Nails and would definitely say that they’re the best nail salon in the Charlotte area!"

"My experience does not match the raving reviews I've seen for shiny Nails. My first and only time going here was to get chrome nails that were recommended to me from a coworker. I thought that for 2 hours and $65 worth of work, I'd have stellar results. My nail artist was very aggressive and kept blaming me for mess ups that she caused when pushing my hand into the hand lamp. I found it very unprofessional but was willing to overlook it if the results were amazing. To my displeasure, they were not. She did hardly any cuticle trimming whatsoever and my nails are overly thick and mismatched in shape. I walked out with nails that looked grown out for a week, with plenty of my natural nail bed showing, not freshly curated nails. It's now been a day since and the chrome glitter has partially rubbed off making the work look even more shoddy. I'm very unhappy that I spent $65 dollars for nails that I cannot wait to get off. Do not reccomend and will not be back."
