"Never had a problem with the technician in Franklin. Excellent service there but the 1800 number is a whole nother beast its self."
"The guy that was suppose to do the installation was EXTREMELY EXTREMELY RUDE. Horrible customer service. I left and went somewhere else."
"A very greedy company. They tell you one thing on the phone as far as where to go for your appointment then they change the place you are suppose to go without letting you know and just try their very best to get you in trouble so they can collect more money from you. Watch them like a hawk. Every now and then you get a person that is nice to you...but that is rare."
"Terrible customer service. I've been on hold for the second time this evening. I have been waiting since 8:18pm (and it's now 9:58pm) and have been placed on hold 13 times with each time the robo voice asking me if I wanted to answer a survey (and each time I have said "yes") Also, each time tells me a different wait time ("more than 2 minutes", "more than 5 minutes", "more than 10 minutes"). At 8:36pm a very nice person "Caroline" answered and told me she would stay on the line as she connected me with a supervisor but that never happened. The first time I called was at 6:40pm and talked with "Angela", who was very rude and condescending. I told her the device had been telling me different messages this evening and that it told me I needed service within 3 days -- which was a mistake bc I had just had the device serviced. It gave me an "arrival test ignored" code and I told Angela I had been giving the arrival tests each time. I told her I should not have to pay $45 because I had She refused to let me speak to her supervisor and told me they had 2 days to call me back. She hung up on me at 7:16pm. I had a witness listen and I left a message explaining what happened. ...... I had problems with Dakota and Alan, the technicians early on and only stayed with Monitech to just get things over with, but this company is suspect at best. (Their offices are tiny and, several times, several "strangers" have been hanging around the office when we showed up for service. (One guy told me to be prepared to pay $45 on a random basis.) This is OBVIOUSLY a SCAM. By the way, I am still on hold and it is 10:04pm. Please beware. Again, it's a SCAM. Report them to the Better Business Bureau (as I am doing) and the Federal Trade Commission. I plan to contact the attorney general as well."
