Reviews of Ingles Market
"Exceptionally well. Very helpful people other than a tall bald white guy that likes to follow people around the store like a creepo."
"Good variety of food items. Clean store and parking lot. Always well stocked. So expensive that I avoid going there."
"They have good Subs 6.95each for 12foot sub. and The hard workers always there for you their subs are cheaper but not very long or fat bread subs.l, but their donuts after 6:00 or two for a dollar it's worth the time to go down there and collect as much Donuts as you want for the price at 50 cents each and each donut is handmade in their Bakery wow yum yummy.."
"Always check the Best Buy date on our products that you buy from Ingles. I came across products that were out of date in a lit the gentleman working in that department know. The following day when I came in the product was still on the shelf. Also, none of their cashiers know how to count back money when you have change coming. Almost everybody that works. There is rude."
"They're a lifesaver for me!!! I can't go shopping like I used to, I'm too ill. This lets me maintain a little bit of independence. I realize that my review left a lot more questions than answers and I'm so sorry to the 135 people who viewed this. When I said that they let me maintain some independence, I meant they're curbside online shopping. I'm specifically referring to the Ingles located in Seneca, SC. It's commonly known as Ingles Plaza and there's a CVS as well as a gas station at the front entrance to the Plaza. Now, to use Ingles online shopping download the app, and create an account and password. You can look at what we Southerners normally "the sales paper" even though this is not paper, if you see something you want from the ad, just click it and add it to your cart. If it's a sale price dependent on the number of items, it will tell you. I've personally found it easier to just start shopping as I would inside the store, so I begin with produce, and if you want 3 bananas, it's going to have a drop-down button for you to tell them the number of bananas you want and then if you want them green, yellow, ripe or over-ripe, you select that and then tell it to put it in your cart, once I've finished with the fruit & veggies, I head to the deli section, the bakery, etc. You can look at what's in your buggy at any time and see what the price is so you can stay on budget. This will be your first list and when you return the next time, you can duplicate everything with the push of a button. But, I've not done that yet but if something you bought before is on sale, you'll be notified and allowed to add it. I've found the personal shoppers who have helped me are generous with the grapes but I only pay for whatever I ask for never more, I need a scale because I know that I'm getting more. If an item you've asked for isn't in stock, they've always "upgraded" me with a name-brand product but not at the name-brand price. I've only been able to go once. As I said, it helps me "feel" a little independent because I'm looking at the price and deciding whether I want it or not. One of my friends isn't deciding for me. I'm picking the flavor of juice that I want or the frozen Healthy Choice meals that I want. Deciding what ice cream I shouldn't have and still getting it. THAT type of independence. I rode up once to pick up the groceries and I didn't even speak face to face to anyone, but I got sick for the 4th or 5th time this year. I love Rusty and his team of shoppers who have made me and other people similar to me feel a little less weird."
