"We went to Opa Opa based on reviews of freshness and tasty food. It's true, this place is a star in a town of mediocre restaurants. It's very clean, newly decorated. Service was friendly. The dolmades were fresh and moist, not fried or like you usually get. Try the chicken lemon rice soup, it's not overly tart and perfect for the chilly weather this January. Even the simple salad was very fresh, with tasty kalamata olives and a classic red vinegar dressing. I really enjoyed the daily special: honey glazed chicken. A half chicken, broasted to golden brown, juicy perfection. The gyros were also juicy and not overly salty. Overall, not fancy but you can tell they put pride into their food I just wish I'd found this place earlier in our trip!"

"Wow! I was told prices are steep, but that couldn't be further from the truth. As you get what you pay for in both quality and quantity. I ordered a beef/lamb platter for a crisp $20 and when it came out I got 2 meals worth of food. The ingredients seemed to be fresh and high quality. The taste was to my satisfaction which is incredible for the money spent. You won't find a better product for cheaper anywhere else in the area. The overall feel of the establishment was inviting and suitable. With friendly staff. My only recommendation would be to and a few touches to the bathroom to make it feel like the rest of the establishment. It was clean, but it almost seemed like I was in a completely different building. Just nitpicking. The food was great and I'll certainly be back."

"Have just returned from one of our most enjoyable ever new restaurant trys. Our daughter suggested Opa Opa a wonderful little Greek Restaurant located within the Publix shopping center. First parking is no issue in this location with a selection of several types of store fronts from restaurants to Fleet-Feet a sports shoe store. Entered and found a nice bright and enjoyable place that has been open for two years. The Greek nationality mother daughter team really know there food. The selections are not complex but from everything we had can only tell you that you will enjoy. We ordered the Combo Platter Lamb/Beef and Pork as well as a Beef/Lamb with Lemon Potatoes, Salad. Both were delivered spot on delicious. Dessert saw a Backlava Mix, Rice pudding and. Backlava Cheeze cake all home made... when was the last time you saw a restaurant do that? You can tell what they make is fantastic as that little extra ingredient that they add is a love of what they make and sell. Recardo is one of their long time employees and his picture is attached who is a joy with a smile in his voice and a look that tells you that he loves this place. Simply not a single negative and we will be back as should you."
