"Have never waited less than 25 min to pick up prescriptions inside or at the drive-thru. Drive-thru is usually more like 30-40min and I have waited up to an hour. Even once you are at the window the service is SLOW. It takes 5-10 minutes just for them to locate and ring up prescriptions that are ready. More than once they have failed to order my medication and I missed several doses. I would go elsewhere except my insurance requires them. Thank god I can request delivery now. Absolutely terrible. Stay away. Zero stars."
"I have been disappointed by this pharmacy, time and time again, but after today’s experience, I will never return to this location again. As of today, I am five days out of surgery, and had a prescription sent to this pharmacy the day I left the hospital, which was last Friday. Of course, the prescription that I needed was out of stock, and I was told to come back at a later time. When I went there today, the same woman who had told me that the prescription was out of stock, and to return the next day after 5 PM, after it would be delivered, then decided to tell us that this medication was available over the counter, and was not eligible for prescription pick up. My mother and I asked her repeatedly, why didn’t she tell us this was an over-the-counter medication, so that I would not have to go five days without this particular medication? She tried to deny that she had ever said that, and got her supervisor to come over and back her up. I am so frustrated with this experience, and I wish I could say that this was the first time that I’ve ever had issues with this particular Pharmacy location. Do yourself a favor, go to ANY other Walgreens location in the area, and you will have a much better experience."
"If I could give negative stars, I would. This pharmacy is the circle of hell that Dante missed. It is either chronically understaffed or there's one overworked individual handling two lines while three people wander around in the back, typing on computers and looking completely disinterested and unbothered by the teeming masses. I waited 40 minutes for a scheduled appointment and finally left when it appeared that no one was going to check me in. Went across the street to the Harris Teeter and got my vax within 5 minutes. If you value your time and especially your sanity, go elsewhere. I will NEVER, EVER go to another Walgreens. Anywhere. Thank goodness for amazon pharmacy!"
"This is without a doubt the worst pharmacy I have ever had the displeasure of using. All of the recent negative reviews are apt, myself and my neighbors have had the same experience. You are never told if or when your prescription will be ready. You have to go in person and stand there while your prescription is filled. You have to count each pill before you leave. It is absolutely ridiculous. My wife went for a flu shot recently, and was insulted by the staff for not having insurance. While we would have, of course, paid out of pocket, the staff made her feel so embarrassed in front of the rest of the customers, my wife left. I oversee 93 Urgent Care clinics. If any coworker treated a patient the way my wife was treated, they would be fired for belittling a patient instead of offering payment options. This is inexcusable. Do not go to this location, they are a complete trainwreck."
"Do yourself a favor and pick up your prescriptions literally anywhere else. They do not notify you of any prescription status changes (such as not being able to stock your medication), the wait to speak to a human being is at least 20 minutes no matter when you call, and when you do get someone on the line, they are disinterested in actually helping you and are very defensive. I have a medication I need daily and this location has only been able to stock it 1/3 of the time. They will claim it’s a shortage across all Walgreen’s, and don’t like it when you bring up that other Walgreen’s in Cary/Wake County seem to have no problem stocking it. They will never call or text you regarding the prescriptions you actually need, but trust me when I say that they will never leave you alone about a random prescription your doctor sent in 6 months ago for a problem that was resolved 5 months ago. I know that its location and drive-thru make it more convenient than most pharmacies in this particular area, but please….just go somewhere else."
