"While they have the best meat and produce of any chain store around Hillsborough, they’re customer service is seriously lacking. I have been in there at least twice a week for years, and this has only been an issue recently. There are a couple of the associates that are perfectly friendly and approachable. However, the last three cashiers I have had were just this side of rude. No greeting, no “did you find everything you need?” No hello, just nothing. I had that very same job for years when I was younger and part of the job then was to greet my customers. I don’t expect fake happy, or false smiles- but I definitely expect more from customer service associates/cashiers. I won’t even get started on the bagging practices- but if I buy bread I don’t want it in a bag with bananas or a jar of sauce. It just doesn’t make sense. Three stars given because of the interactions with associates & bagging. Train those employees, please!"

"JANICE DISRESPECTED ME!!! she crushed my tomatoes in the SAME BAG with frozen burgers, raspberries, ice cream AND a can of chilles.... i asked her to place it in another bag and SHE TOLD ME I COULD TO SELF CHECKOUT!!!.... she needs to be trained on bagging AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! she did NOT greet me with a hello OR smile.... i am NOT PLEASED!!! folks!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! your business is NOT APPRECIATED"

"From the entrance to the exit, the store was clean and stocked. The gentleman working at the deli provided world class customer service. He sliced my bologna to the thickness I requested. The produce was being stocked and rotated, the salesperson was very helpful. Meats and cold meat cooler was stocked. I had a great selection of icecream to choose from. At the checkout, the wait was less than 5 minutes, and the cashier was very friendly and made sure to ask me to come back and visit again. Thank you for have a great store to shop in."
