"Carpet One installed in my sunroom. I worked with Devin, and although, initially there was some confusion about putting carpet over my flagstone, it was all resolved and I am very happy with the finished product. The installer was not able to nail the tack strip down to the flagstone and there was an additional cost, however Carpet One absorbed that cost. The installer who came was very professional and did a great job. Everything was cleaned up and it looks great. I would definitely use them again."
"My husband and I recently had a new vinyl floor installed replacing our older tiles. Carpet One did everything right by us. They had a great selection, affordable prices, and their customer service was tops. Corinna Waslin, our service rep, guided us through everything and it was all pretty painless. We had to wait on a backorder of the style we chose, but it was well worth it because the whole floor is stunning. The installers were wonderful, too, very professional, hardworking and diligent. We would recommend Carpet One Flooring in a heartbeat."
"Many great reviews on this company, but NOT the experience my wife and I had. We were looking for bathroom tile. My wife made a comment to me about some expensive tile. We don't go tile shopping that much. An older female employee overheard my wife. This is where we were no longer a customer and became a nuisance. It was very obvious. The employee walked off while assisting us to help another customer and never came back. We caught up with her again and she left us looking at tile sample books. We asked a question about availability of a certain tile. We left our phone # and she said she would call us. Never heard from her. We have not and will not go back."
"A very regrettable choice for a 13K flooring project. We intentionally chose a local company vs the national chain stores for several reasons including supporting local businesses, more personal attention and service after the sale etc. What we received was far from professional and any of the items I listed above. I could write a short novel on the subject and you can read on after this paragraph for complete details but unless you are interested in handholding and constant supervision and managing your own project you have paid someone else very well for, I suggest looking elsewhere. Our salesperson was Angel Hyler and as it turns out was also our estimator and project manager all of which she is unqualified for. It started by her sending me several erroneous proposals (always with attached page of legal and their terms) that I had to correct and send back. After I finally got a proposal that actually reflected what we were asking for we paid them 13K upfront and were told it would take 5-10 business days to receive our order and they would call us. After 2 weeks I called to see where we stood for an install date and was passed to Jessica who was in charge of scheduling. Jessica was unable to locate our order right away and did call me back promptly as promised to tell me for some reason our order was not ordered or in. She placed the order and put a rush on it and found an installer who could install the days after arrival the next week even though we had been told by Angel they used “In House Installers” The Installers did show up on the day Jessica said and she even called the day before to confirm (good job by Jessica) The Installers were hard workers and polite but did ask me which direction materials to which I replied the way it was figured to avoid shortages. After the first day I inspected the work and they had square cut the quarter round at each termination which is a no-no and not industry standard. I had them correct that the next day and they moved on pretty well from there. Only problem is they did not have enough transition material to complete the job and would have to come back. I told them they could pick up what they needed to finish at Home Depot a mile from here but they had to rely on the office to handle that. So now back to Angel who calls me a week later to tell me she is ordering what is needed to complete that the installers had reported they were short. Fast forward another week or more I call back and ask for the manager Rhonda or Ed because I’m pretty tired of this whole mess but of course they are unavailable but I do manage to get to Jessica who once again has to put in a rush order and is going to schedule Mitch, their in-house guy to come and complete our job. I did ask her to make Rhonda and Ed aware of my dis-satisfaction with the handling of our job by their company and especially Angel. She assured me she had emailed both with my concerns. Mitch showed up on time and after accessing the work made a trip to Home Depot to get what he actually needed instead of what Angel had ordered and as I had tried to tell her weeks ago. He was polite and professional and completed the job. All in all the job looks pretty good but a bit unsightly at the stair spindles where you can see all the dimples in the carpet from all the staples and maybe that is because of our carpet choice but a professional company should have advised us this could be an issue since they did send out Don to measure and take pictures of the whole project and seemed very thorough. To preempt a response from the company to please contact us with your concerns etc…. I tried several times to go around Angel and voice my concerns but got firewalled off and since Jessica told me she emailed you about this I can only assume you are uninterested. You have my phone number this job was just done a few weeks ago !"
