Reviews of Fashion Nails
"I had the worst salon experience ever. Let me start off by saying I made a mistake in my reservation, I haven’t had my nails done in a very long time. I got there and was informed I wouldn’t need a mani along with a full set. I apologized for getting mixed up and things were off to a good start. It was a simple and harmless mistake. I was being serviced by a very bitter, aggressive man. He promptly brought up the fact that I made a mistake, and scoffed at me about it. I figured maybe he was just in a crabby mood. A much nicer gentleman came and also informed me that I wouldn’t be needing the mani and I got it incorrect on the phone. I was genuinely appreciative that they informed me so I wouldn’t spend more money accidentally. I thanked them again for letting me know I wouldn’t be needing the mani. My best friend was with me and was also getting the same thing. A full set and pedicure, at this point. The man who serviced me continued to taunt me. He brought up my mistake several more times. I found this confusing but just attempted to brush it off. The pedicure turned out okay. I just wanted to enjoy my “luxury” experience and relax. I struggle with neurodivergence and mental illness so I do not get the ability to get my nails done or get outside often. I find it hard to be around people. I lied to another man who asked if I had ever had my nails done before, because of the mistake I made on the phone. I purposefully I told this (much nicer) man I didn’t know anything about nails. I told him I don’t get my nails done often. For the exact reason that I KNEW I would be taken advantage of. My tech did just that. He completely fell for it. He continued to publicly humiliate me and emotionally ab*se me. The improper application was something he thought I would not understand or be able to notice. I used to get my nails done all the time, I do them myself as a hobby. I know a lot about acrylic and gel applications. The man in the salon did several things wrong: A) gluing the nail glue to my skin and telling me to leave it B) asked me specifically not to wash my hands of any powder after ANY filing before any applications C) did not remove my cuticles on my fingers before any applications D) damaged the surface of my nail by over drilling/filing since I have genetically thin nails E) used the CONTAINERS OF ACRYLIC FOR MY ARM REST F) applied gel too thick on my ring finger which caused overheating and burning under the UV light G) did not file down any bulk from gel application H) did not apply enough acrylic initially and removed too much with the drill (I did not have nearly enough acrylic on the apex nor on the extension connection area) I) did not shape nails correctly to what was requested (narrow tapered squared nails) J) physically aggressive with filing and handling of their customer This is all besides the passive aggressive and unprofessional treatment I was given which was traumatic and extremely embarrassing. I would not pay 85$ to be disrespected and also have my nails jacked up ever again. The only reason I still paid is because I was also getting my best friends nails done and the man was so rude to me I didn’t want to engage with him."
"After I started getting my nails done here, I knew I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Every staff member is professional and skilled. I never feel rushed or unwelcome. Anyone looking for a nail salon should definitely stop at this one!"
"Been getting nails done here for 2 years now! Very happy every time! Always treated like a friend. Most visits I make are on a walk in basis and always feel like I am welcomed. Simon, his wife and all the staff are friendly and professional. Highly recommend that you visit them. You will be pleased with the results."

"I have been seeing Simon and Lucas for my nails for a very long time and have always been super happy with their work, but today I wanted to do something exciting for the holidays. I am AMAZED! Simon (a.k.a. Popcorn) did such a good job! I can’t wait to show off my new nails!!! Thank you so much! :)"
