"I came to Dillard’s at 7pm to purchase two Parfum de Marly fragrances—I already knew exactly what I wanted as I had met with Lynne earlier this week (Lynne rocks, she is very personable and knowledgeable fragrance associate and has a low-pressure attitude.) Unfortunately Lynne had already left for the day. I directly spoke with two sales associates. one was busy with something and could not help me, and the other was talking with another customer and letting them try different scents. I left without making a purchase after waiting around for 15+ minutes without anybody looking at me. What was supposed to be a quick and easy purchase was turning into a bigger process. Normally I wouldn’t mind waiting, but I explained exactly what I was purchasing as we were standing at the Parfum de Marly kiosk. Additionally, I expect a bare minimum of care and attentiveness when making an expensive purchase. Bummer"

"Can't return unworn pants with a receipt because they were on clearance and there is only a 3 day window for returns on those items. It would be great if someone told me that when the items were purchased, it hasn't even been a week. The lady in customer service (Sunday evening 5:30) was uncaring, unfriendly, and rude. She should get into a new line of work. She took pleasure in denying the return."

"We bought shoes there today. My daughter tried them on and they were clean and in a nice box. We drove home to Asheville NC and when she went to try them on they were dirty and there was mouse poop in the box. Obviously the sales person switched them when he put them at the counter for us to pick up. Very disappointed as these were a present for her rehearsal dinner and we live two and a half hours away from there. I have never had this happen before and would expect better especially when paying $90 for a pair of shoes!"

"Went shoe shopping with my daughter. We went to Belk’s first. Found a pair of Vintage Havana pink glitter tennis shoes and a Betsy Johnson Sidney. Even though Belk’s was super busy and the Betsy Johnson Sidney shoe my daughter wanted was sold out in her size, the sales professional brought out an equally pretty BJ pair. We bought both at 30% off for a total before tax $123.90. Still looking for a pair for her outfit, we decided to go to Dillard’s. Purchased a 3rd pair. But at Dillard’s the Vintage Havana shoe almost the same design was $130. No price match. Guess that is why Dillard’s shoe department had less customers than Belk’s. Normally love both department stores."
